I dunno what Verizon is doing anymore honestly. It's the answer to the so so networks yet doesn't offer much itself for the single user. Witholding unlimmited data just to bring it back for a Staggering $80 a month. The problem is most wireless carries work together which is why pricing isn't very diverse. The other thing that disturbs me is the overpricing of phones. Google had proved years ago that you can have a flagship device that costs half as much with their nexus line up. That is till the pixil phone, an outragous amount to match the competition. Because financing the phones or bundling them with contracts is how the money is made and how people are going to continue to get suckered into buying them. Problem is, once you have a carrier advertising the greatest downfall of all the hopes and dreams in the cellular world. Its all downhill from there. People will just expect to keep up with it out of habbit and not knowing any better. Batteries will blow up and people will still insist othe same device because it's cool and they are told it's the best so they want it. And keep wanting despite another wave of batteries blowing up. Samsung addicts are just as bad as Apple users these days. They swear by the product, refuse to see any other option despite the critical flaws. In note 7 edges case a flaw that could cause great harm.
But back to the the main review. Authorized dealers such as this joint don't really help make matters any better for the best cellular experience. Premium rates with take or leave it attitude. I remember the good ol days when you got to haggle and walk away paying less than the poster price. Even then it's a win for them because the operational costs of your service is pennies on the many dollars you spend a month. So even if they offered rates half off they would still make a killing. But they can't let you know that. So when they do they create BS subrands to sell you prepaid packages.
To sum it all up though and to be fair. I rather like the customer service here, and the people working there trying to make the best of selling a product they may or may not believe in fully. Because the more you learn about telecom either it be wired or cellular. Its all just become a giant scheme to rip people off little by little so you don't notice it till years later and you realize or like most people don't realize it.
Proof of it all lies in the fact that you can get a Wi-Fi phone that still charges you to make calls. Even though there are plenty of services out there like Google voice where you can call for free from an app. So if that is the case then how does Skype and Vonage make so much from people making calls over the internet. Becuase when you have a product people are familiar with and it's popular. You better believe they will rip you off with every chance they get to make their brand more profitable. Its just...

The rep here was helpful at first.
But, when I was ordering, the rep lied to me on multiple occasions. He said that they were not allowed to bundle accessories, and that I could contact support after I received my items to get a price adjustment to account for the lack of discount up front on the keyboard (a nearly $100 discount!!). I have now contacted support, and no, they cannot give me the discount after the fact. He is either completely misinformed on how their discounts work, or more likely lied to make the sale.
He also gave me the wrong bundle discounts on my order, resulting in me paying more monthly than I would have if I simply ordered online.
This has all resulted in me needing to cancel my order, have a refund take place, and then reorder online. Complete waste of my time and money. I will never go to this location for assistance again, and I don't recommend anyone else do so either.
Edit: Come to find out, I also mentioned to him that I wanted to do a trade in for the transaction. He said that was fine, and I would send the phone in after I received the new phone. When I talked to customer service, nope. You NEED to have the trade-in added at the time of sale, or have it added to the order by customer service after the fact, which means waiting on hold and talking to people for 30+ minutes... So yet more time wasted if I want to keep my order.
I reached out to the email address they have provided, and will update with whatever solution they come up with. I doubt it will be satisfactory to recoup the 5+ hours wasted on customer service chats and calls, not even counting the time I took to specifically drive in and order via their store.
Edit 2: I reached out to the address provided on 10/04/23, the day after the order was placed. They have finally gotten back to me as of 10/11/23. The solution they offered was to either credit my bill or send me a check for the amount of the original discount AFTER I purchase the keyboard at full price with my own money.
For some this may be a satisfactory solution, for me it is not. I had already canceled my order by the time I heard back, as it was easier and more time efficient for me to do so than to wait for what I figured would not be a very fulfilling solution. I am glad I did not wait.
Based on how this has been handled and the time wasted on it, I definitely stick with my original recommendation of never using this location for service. Steer clear if you value your...
Read moreI don't do ratings. However in this case I will make an exception if it means for the betterment of someone else. This was the first time in my verizon history that I have had the single worst experinece ever. This is not because of verizon but because of this store, its employee and most of all supervisor/ regional owner (Robbin) of the store. Please know that if you have a problem, issue or concern the supervisors or regional person will not be reaching out, rather he will communicate through his store manager the lack of help they will be providing. I came in to add a line to our family plan and was told they had a "promotion" for a free phone. Knowing there is always catch I questioned about all additional fees and was assured there were none. However 30 days later when the bill arrived that was not the case. They added a monthly fee, insurance all of which I had to spend hours on the customer service line with verizon to have this taken care of. The phone was not free and that part is still not taken care of. This store has poor ownership, training, staff and customer service. BUYERS BEWARE, This is what verizon calls an indirect seller they are by no means a...
