Manager on shift named Ashley was rude. I ordered an iced doppio with two pumps of caramel and topped off (filled all the way to the top) with almond milk. She said I cannot order it that way because I need to order a latte. Both drinks taste completely different to me so ordering it how I asked is my preferred option and I didn’t order a latte I ordered what I asked for. In a very rude tone with her voice and elevated She yelled “NO! you will be charged extra for a latte I’m not giving you more milk I told you can’t order it that way” but I was confused as to one why she was telling getting aggressive over milk I’m willing to pay for and why not just charge me for extra milk (cause a 1/2 inch of was given in my cup not topped off like I asked). I guess Starbucks rule is they can’t charge for extra milk and if so it’s considered a latte but if I’m paying for it please just give me my drink how I ordered it and charge me for extra almond milk it’s not that serious. She was rude and asked who she was she said “a manager” I said oh that’s why you thought you could talk to me like that?? said “I can get the store manager” I said please do and when she did, the store manager just gave me extra milk like I asked and I thanked her. Was it that hard to give me a splash of milk?? I didn’t cuss Ashley out like I should’ve but next time I just might!

I visited to get a coffee gift card for a coworker. Before the transaction, I specifically requested a gift receipt, and the worker said yes. The worker punched a few keys and then informed me that a gift receipt couldn’t be provided because it was a gift card. He then disappeared into the back, presumably to find a manager, and later asked another employee for assistance. She attempted to help but was unsuccessful. When she asked if I needed “another” receipt, I explained that regular receipts include too much information for the recipient. Her response? “Honestly, you can just cut out all that information!” The entire interaction was unhelpful and unwelcoming. I simply thanked them and left. Communication and service like this made what should have been a quick and simple purchase unnecessarily frustrating.

In this day and age unfortunately excellent customer service can be very difficult to find. 10 stars for Hunter and this entire team on 12/7. I hope he and the staff get recognition (from district and HQ) on this day for going above and beyond to make my day better. In this day and age unfortunately excellent customer service can be very difficult to find. But I do go out of my way to go EXCLUSIVELY to this location because of their staff, speed and INCREDIBLE friendlies that is actually genuine. Pi hope management congratulates him for his kindness.

First of all, I spend lots of money at Starbucks, today my family of 3 and I spent about 100 dollars. And this is exactly what we do on Saturdays frequent starbucks, with my friends and family. On this particular visit, my 3rd that morning and first to this local, because we visited 2 different ones earlier, (myself and friends at lakewood early morning, then Center st Tacoma later). So, I decided to order after my family, because I needed to go to the restroom first. & I no longer needed coffee having 2 cups already and also it had been a long warm morning and I was just thirsty for water. Now, It was my turn to order and I asked for a vente water. So then the register person said, "we do not give water out anymore." I then said, "but I am here with my family," pointing at the table of 5 , 2 being my family and 3 friends. She said to me, "oh ok then." I sat down and waited with my other friend that I noticed there, 9 total, Plus me that makes 10. So 3 minutes later I hear my name being called, "_" and I see a grande water on the counter. I said thank you, she smiled. 5 minutes passed , my water was done (it was 90 percent ice). So then to my surprise, I hear my name again being called, & this time, its the vente water I see being held up by a diferent employee. Happily, I got up to go get it because I was still thirsty, (my cup being just ice now, having finished the water). And as I took a few steps to retreive it, the original person I ordered from shouted, "no I gave him his water already." and they took it back. I would like to say that this is by far the worst I have ever been treated at a starbucks in my life. Please manager address this type of customer service. I understand coffee is not free but can your staff be more professional please. And treat customers the way they would want to be treated. Please have your associates think...

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for years and what I experienced today was very upsetting. I was in the drive thru and asked if I could order the lavender matcha latte and if we liked it that we’d order more. I made sure to ask if that was okay and she had told me yes and that they would have me pull up forward to hand my drink. When I got to the window the girl already had a nasty attitude and with no greetings. Her name was Nikki and she had dark black hair with glasses and fair skin. I told her that I wanted to order another matcha and she said that id have to park and come inside?? When I already asked if that was okay. I’m not sure what her problem was but she was saying it in a really rude way and I had asked why can’t I just pull up forward like you said I could and she continued to say we don’t do that you’d have to come in. Even though usually if I order another drink they have me wait at the window until it’s ready. She also didn’t us any siracha a with our sandwiches that I had asked for, and when I had went inside to ask for the siracha she only gave me one and I asked nicely if I could have more and was only gaven one more….
