Bears Repeating — Local services in Upper Macungie Township

I pass this store pretty much on the daily yet only just stopped when they were able to reopen amidst the pandemic for the first time at the urging of my 8 year old. I'm one of those people who read the reviews, especially the bad ones, i suppose it's the same as rubbernecking at an accident site! I cannot say for sure whether some of the allegations/comments written in them are true or not but for someone walking in there for the first time (not looking like i have a whole lot either) i was greeted warmly and treated kindly throughout my 2 hour visit! Lol I've never met anyone who was in the store before that day, worker or owner alike. I purchased a few things but had quite a few more (a bunch!) in my basket that i wasn't able to pay for at that time. Without even knowing me, i was offered to hold everything else in the back and she even held an infant play dome ($45) just on my say so that i would be back the following week. I have been back, pretty much every week since too (except for this one as something came up) The owner Angie has been nothing but warm and welcoming and it's one of the biggest reasons why i will continue to return. I had an issue with something that i had bought and messaged Angie to speak to her about it, she was nothing but apologetic and told me that she would take the cost of the item off of my next purchase....and she didn't even want the item back! Yes, their prices are higher than that of thrift store's or yard sales but this is a CONSIGNMENT SHOP, an actual store that doesn't work off of donations and one that has overhead! There's a large selection that is fairly priced and it's changing all of the time! Each time i go into Bears Repeating, i find something(s) i haven't seen the previous time! Owner is a wonderful person. We just had our first child in October 2017 and we had never EVER stepped foot in a consignment shop obviously. When we came in they were very nice, they explained where all the clothes were located that would fit our newest pride and joy. Honestly, you are missing out if you dont at least go check this place out. The clothes that the owner has there are in exteremly good condition. I have a serious shopping addiction to this store, (when it comes to clothes) 😝 I had my hands full plus I was carrying my son. Drove all the way over there with baby items to sell they were all in good condition just a little dusty from being put away lady in the front desk going to say I need to go put them in the washer and come back with them. Like what ?!? She could’ve just got a wipe from the back and cleaned it off or gave it to me to clean it off it was literally just a little bit dusty how lazy can you be every co-sign store cleans them or usually wash them themselves because the items can look clean but they can smell like cigarettes or have lice so what was the point of that ?!
