Marshalls — Local services in Upper Macungie Township

Stopped in after work looking for a zip closed mattress case which they did not have aside for a small bed bug brand twin sized one, but overall a decent store. Just like all similar stores, great pricing but have to make sure you examine items properly as most of them are able to be sold so cheap as there is some minor flaw that did not pass quality control such as loose threads, incorrect stitching, or stock from previous years. I was able to find some nice summer clothing for my kids who grow out of it fast with no major issues with the items though there was a nice infant dress I liked for my daughter but the front was so crooked a blind person could tell.

Not many associates on sales floor if you need help, but everything is pretty self explanatory. Store split into major sections with giant signs above them. Only real complaint is that the organization of shelves and racks is terrible because customers just put stuff back anywhere and don't care, as well as many items can be found opened and just tossed back on the shelf - like bedding sets for example - so hard to tell if everything is there or to even make it fit back...

Fitting rooms are a great size with chair and a rack. The fitting room people always act like your a burden being there. And I'm a friendly as they come. I say hi how you doing and smile and they are like a cardboard box. As a matter of fact yesterday we were counting the hangers as I was going into the fitting room and she counted a set as 2 so I said no no that's a set and she said no that counts as 2, in a very snotty way and I replied, no it does not, it does not even have its own hanger. She made me put everything up on the rack to look at it again only to find that I was correct. But then I was the enemy of the state and are was very unhappy. It's just so comical to me that the fitting room people are usually have a total disregard for any kind of customer service Even though they are a main point of contact and Have a big impact on customer experience. Fitting room people used to say hey when you're done with those let me know and I'll give you the other ones to try on. I did that for a living and we were bored just standing there and happy to help. Be better....

rude staff, some older women who worked there yelled at me for spraying a perfume and told me if i wanted to smell it i need to put the perfume to my nose but obviously i can’t smell something that is not sprayed. If she did not want me spraying perfume she could’ve politely came up to me and asked me not to with a nice tone but instead she caused a scene and yelled infront of customers and when i told her i couldn’t smell it she said i don’t need to be spraying it a bunch of times, very rude and condescending . I felt very uncomfortable as there were many people spraying perfume and I was the only one that was called out for only wanting to smell the scent of one that was barely filled. It is a shame because i love shopping here but experiences like...
