The food was excellent and the employees were nice. The problem was the server Alita. She was rude. I asked for water with line she forgot the lime. When I asked her again for lime she shrugged and made an aweful face and still never brought the lime. Then after the rest of the party arrived she was nowhere near and we asked several other employees for drinks wine not once did she return to refill our ordered drinks or water She asked “ are you done” we all replied no then she proceeded to place dessert menus around our table I looked at her and told her we are not finished with the meal and she said “that ok” and left the menus around the table anyway Then when we asked another employee where is our server he went and got her and we ordered our desserts She was very cold and not pleasant at all took away the menus 40 minutes passed I asked another employee what is going on I told him that our server was rude and 40 minutes passing inattentive about our table and our needs he sent another employee to retrieve our desserts Alita then appears unapologetic with our desserts placing them on the table with an attitude The servers giving out the meats were so kind and very attentive. The food was good and plentiful. Our personal Service was rude and disrespectful and when i respectfully brought this to the attention to the man i assumed to be a manager he did not apologize but he did send another employee to retrieve our server and get our desserts I feel the manager should have been more sympathetic to the fact that our entire table was neglected and by the attitude of the server Alita should have at least apologized and changed her behavior and at least serve our table with a smile Very rude and bad experience for the first time at this establishment Disappointed and surprised by the lack of response from management and server. Everyone has bad days and everyone makes mistakes What makes the difference is the response when they are told of the problem and the resolution A smile with an apology and better service would have been sufficient But even after pointing out the problem our drinks were empty and asked someone else passing by This was all...
Read moreWe had a party of 7 for my husband's 40th birthday. When we arrived about 5 minutes early, we had to crowd at the door as people squeezed past us. There is no waiting area. Then I noticed at 6:04 that I had gotten a text at 6:01 saying our table was ready, but no one had spoken to us in spite of us being squeezed next to the hostess table. We were seated with 3 drink menus and our waitress asked us if we wanted the full experience. We had not been given dinner menus and she didn't explain the 'full experience.' Only 1 in the party of 7 had been to Fogo before, so there were lots of confused faces. Lots of people shrugging, asking what it is (she never did explain it), and saying "I guess?" I told the waitress that I was pescetarian and she said that I could have sea bass or salmon. I asked if there were any other options, vegetarian or vegan, and she said they had tofu. I asked what the tofu dish was like and she said "tofu with vegetables." She didn't explain further or offer a menu and I didn't think to ask since she didn't offer, so I ordered the salmon. It was so dry and there were lots of bones. I barely touched it. She asked if I wanted a box and I said no. I didn't complain and it was not taken off the check. $40 for about an ounce of dry salmon. Everyone who got the full experience was happy with their food. The salad bar was excellent - one person in the party described it as a giant charcuterie board. The tables are PACKED in, so there were times when the meat cutters were reaching the meat over my plate and dripped blood onto my plate of food. We also saw meat cutters start to come over to us, realize how tight the space was, and turn around. If this is the point of the restaurant, please space tables farther apart to allow people room to move in and out. Our waitress barely acknowledged us and spoke so softly, we couldn't hear her. The experience may have been a 5 star one had we had a competent server. Looking at the check, her...
Read moreFrom the moment we stepped through the doors of Fogo de Chão, we knew we were in for something special. Our party of 13 was greeted with warm smiles and promptly escorted to our table, where the ambiance—crisp linens, soft lighting, and the faint sizzle of the churrasco grills—set the stage for an epic feast. Pro tip: be sure to ask for Carla and Nyra; they took care of every detail with genuine warmth and made us feel like royalty.
The real show, of course, is the meat—particularly the top sirloin and bottom sirloin, which easily earned their place as my favorites of the evening. Each cut arrived hot off the grill, expertly seasoned, and sliced tableside into tender, melt-in-your-mouth portions. The savory smokiness paired perfectly with the brisk service of the gauchos, who kept our plates perpetually full and our laughter flowing with their lighthearted banter.
Between servings of meat, we dove into the salad bar—and I couldn’t resist five plates of Caesar salad. The romaine was impossibly crisp, the dressing tangy and balanced, and the Parmesan generously shaved. It was the ideal palate cleanser, giving our taste buds just enough reprieve before the next round of cuts.
For dessert, Fogo continues to impress. The papaya cream was a revelation: silky, subtly sweet, and refreshingly tropical. But the tres leches cake stole the show—rich, moist, and decadently soaked, it was so irresistible that our table went back for seconds (and even thirds).
All told, Fogo de Chão delivers an unforgettable dining experience: impeccable meats, a stellar salad bar, heavenly desserts, and service that feels more like hosting friends than waiting on strangers. If you’re planning a celebration or simply craving a carnivore’s dream, reserve your table now—and don’t forget to ask for Karla and Nyra to elevate your evening from great to extraordinary.
