I decided to come in and try the charburger because I received a coupon in the mail. The line was almost out of the door but it moved quickly. The menu is small with a great variety burgers, sandwiches and salads. The standard burger comes with lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, mayo and pickles. You can customize it with out these toppings or add other options like bacon, avocado or mushrooms for $1.50 each. The burger patty is on the thin side but the toppings really help bring it all together for a filling experience. The onion rings and sweet potato fries are some of the best that I’ve ever had. I don’t know if the onion rings are breaded in-house but it seems like they are because of how good they are. This location has wheelchair accessible parking, seating and restrooms. I also spotted a stack of high chairs and booster seats near the fountain soda machine. It may be difficult to dine together with a large group but you may be able to move the chairs and tables around in the outdoor seating area. Habit is a nice addition to the Town Center and I look forward to returning to try the...
Read moreHave been a loyal customer for years and truly enjoyed this place until our recent visit with the manager Bob. My husband and I came here after several months, since it was his birthday we received the birthday voucher in his email. When trying to redeem it at the counter and ordering additional food, we were asking the person at the register for assistance and his response was “That’s between you and your phone” We then politely asked where we would find the code and then again he gave a sarcastic smirk and said “Again that’s between you and your phone” We asked if there is a manager who could help us and he did the “ Hello, it’s me I’m the manager” act. This was definitely not the type of behavior you should receive from a manager at a fine establishment. As a manager if you don’t listen to the concerns of your guest then what’s the point of being there. Will not be back and will make sure to tell me loved ones as well to avoid this place. It’s unfortunate because we had a wonderful experience with the staff here in the past and the food was...
Read moreI was in Philly traveling and came to The Habit after I was told it featured $5.50 or so double burgers. It was a good thing I came, the food was excellent, fresh and priced extremely well. For instance a pineapple burger (teriyaki) is only $0.35 extra.
I had a strawberry smoothie, a burger and some edamame green beans. All were delicious. All met my expectations and more.
Where The Habit is lacking is in service, and I 100% believe it was the owner or a manager who provided me substandard service. Perhaps he had had an awful day. It wasn't a negative exchange; just that he had a clear disinterest in anything, and I mean anything. You know how some people be. It's not 😎 when that person is making more than their staff, in my opinion.
Go next door to the Mission BBQ if you can afford another $7 on average for your meal. You will have unequivocal quality of food and service. Otherwise, The Habit is totally acceptable. Let them know their management is substandard and point them to reviews such as this one so they'll...
