I wanted to share my experience bec. I know how hard it is to find good places, so hopefully this review would be helpful to someone who is currently looking for places so that they know what to expect. This is an amazing building/location, and the best management! Over a week I saw 20+ apartments in different places, & Omnia was by far the best. I have been living here now for about 3 wks & I love it!
The building is wonderful & very clean/well maintained. I love that the parking garage is connected to the building, so if you live on the 5th floor, you can also park on the 5th floor and not have to use the elevator. Only a couple times I came late at night & didn't find spots on the same floor, but I easily found one on a higher parking floor & took the elevator 1 floor down, so it was still very convenient. They have a lot of amenities which I haven't used yet, but will start doing so once I settle - gym, theatre, pool table, office space (free printer/scanner), dining room, & a kitchen in the lobby which residents can use. Last week I saw there was a social event that the office organized for the residents, & I also saw that one of the residents had a gender revealing event in the space next to the lobby (aka 'Clubhouse') Saturday afternoon, so it was great to know that I can book these spaces for similar events. The location is great - I can walk to Wegman's, Walmart, & so many restaurants/stores. It's great to just be able to go downstairs & grab something to eat/drink or walk around the town centre - very convenient.
The leasing/management team (Max & Michael) is the best leasing team. When I first saw Omnia, I dropped by without an appointment & I was met by Max. He was very welcoming & accommodating and made himself available right away. He showed me the apartment, gave me a tour of the building, answered all my questions & provided a breakdown of the rent/fees in a transparent way. I had other appointments for other places to see, but when I left Omnia I knew it’s the right place, so I came back to Max 20 minutes later & asked him to see the apartment for a 2nd time before I make my final decision. He was super welcoming & took me back to the apartment and let me take my time checking it & take pictures of it. There were a couple very minor things that needed to be addressed in the apartment (showerhead slightly clogged, window needed a very minor repair), & once Max noticed them he immediately, while on the tour, reached out to the maintenance staff, & I learnt later that they were both fixed on the very same day (which was impressive). They even replaced the showerhead with a brand new one.
On the move in day, my apartment was SUPER clean, and there were some welcome gifts which were very nice (and needed too) - little shampoo/conditioner containers, a towel, a laundry detergent pack, etc.
Over the past 2 wks I had a few questions, & every time I go to the office, Michael has always been extremely helpful and patient in taking the time to answer all my questions in detail - really excellent customer service. I know at many places the quality of customer service goes down once you sign the lease, but at Omnia based on my experience and on what I heard from a few neighbours, residents receive excellent customer service consistently all the time.
The neighbours I interacted with are so nice. I spoke with a few & they told me that they love living here. One of them said they are never going to leave Omnia. Another one who was moving out said that the only reason they are leaving Omnia was that they bought a house, and that they will miss living here. They also spoke very highly of Max/Michael's management, & mentioned how maintenance stays on top of things, & addresses issues/requests in a very timely manner.
I'm very happy to have found this place! I know it's always stressful to sign for a new lease because I wouldn't know what to expect after I move in, but since the move-in day and over the past 2 weeks, I knew I made a great decision. I'm already recommending this building to friends...
Read moreOur leasing and move in experience was phenomenal. Everyone in the management/leasing office is super nice and helpful. Shutout to Destiny for prepping our lease at 11pm so we could move in the next day!
We initially considered renting at Indigo [across the street], Luxor or a place on Dekalb Pike. Considering that we wanted to be as close as possible to the PA turnpike we kind of wrote off Luxor and Dekalb. Not to mention Luxor is kind of in a shady area... That left us with Hanover V. Indigo. What sold us on Hanover was the ceiling mounted light fixtures/fans, vertical design [as opposed to Indigo's more horizontal design where the hallways are probably 1/4 mile long] and most importantly Hanover ended up being a better value per square foot [inclusive of all the extra fees these kind of apartments charge]. The only difference amenities wise is that Indigo has a sports simulator and shuffleboard table while Hanover has two movie rooms.
The leasing center hours/staff at were also much more accommodating at Hanover as opposed to Indigo. We showed up to Indigo one day at around 6:03 pm just as a leasing rep was closing the door [they close at 6]. We asked for a tour and were first asked how much we'd like to spend and were then told to come back during business hours. In the world of sales if you aren't willing to stay an extra 20 minutes I'm not sure how serious you are about leasing out units...
Maintenance is also super responsive here. Our under microwave light went out at around 10pm and maintenance had it replaced by 930am the next morning. They even give you detailed reports of...
Read moreI’ve had a great experience at OMNIA so far. I moved in a month ago sight unseen because I lived so far away so I was a little unsure what it would be like. Here is what I have gathered so far:
Pros: Gorgeous apartment. High ceilings, amazing windows. Clearly very thoughtfully designed and executed. Extremely clean upon move in. I was very happy on move in day. They even provided essentials like a towel, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a sponge, soap, and detergent. Unbelievable amount of storage in my studio apartment. Deep cabinets and a lot of them. Really helpful and professional staff. Great package and mail system. Great amenities. Pool, free coffee, an often refilled bowl of Hershey’s Kisses, movie room, free printer, etc. Extremely safe. VERY easy parking in the parking garage. There are always plenty of spaces to park right by the door. Extremely quick maintenance. Very respectful as well. The Town Center area is incredible. Good food and decent night life.
There are so many other positives, but it truly is just an excellent complex and management company. Everything you could possibly expect from a luxury apartment.
Cons: The wood floors are a little difficult because they amplify noise a little bit. Although, I’ve never been woken up from noise and I am a very light sleeper.
The floors are my only small issue and it might even be a stretch. Live here if you’re...
