Absolutely horrible service! I was warned against going here but since they were in my local community, I decided to take my pressure washer there anyways ( I try to support local business since I'm in business too.) Never again will I use this company. I brought a pressure washer in with a leaky gas valve and a bad recoil. The machine is only 1.5 yrs old, but we use it quite a bit being in the painting business. I ask them to call me with an estimate before doing any work, the machine is only worth 450.00. So it takes two weeks to finally get the estimate of 234.00 to fix a 6.00 part and pull the pull mechanism and fix the recoil. ???? I was also told that my fuel tank and carb was full of water? I had just pressured washed a house with it and it was leaking fuel and my guys are scared of the recoil. So I brought it to them to fix it... The gas tank was empty since it was leaking the fuel. When I go in to question this, they show me my carb. and how it had water in it? Then I ask them to put my machine back together and I will pay for the repair of the valve and recoil. Well, they apparently went ahead and did all the work without supplying an estimate. Now I have to pay 200.00 for a small job that was only worth 50.00., they did reduce my bill. Wow... Impressive since they just ripped me off! Never will I use this company again or refer them...
Read moreTried TW Reiss due to location but will never return! I took my chainsaw to them on July 9 to have serviced. Was told they were backed up but the turn around was 5-7 days. I asked them to give me a call with the estimate. Day 7 comes and no call.... So I give them a call and ask for an update. I am told that they don’t know who I talked too but that the turn around isn’t 5-7 but 7-10 days. I say okay, give them the benefit of the doubt, but ask them to go explain to all employees the turn around time that way it’s uniform across the board. This was on July 16th. Ten days would have been July 19th. After no call by July 21st, I went and picked it up and took the saw to another Husqvarna dealer...who is maybe 10 minutes farther than these guys....and was able to have them look at it, and service it that day. Never again will I use you guys. I have no issue with you guys being backed up, but at least tell me that. TW Reiss, you guys lost out on another customer....even when I buy anything now, will always go to Starr Lawnmower or Paul b Moyer. Folks, if you want good service, better off going elsewhere than getting the runaround from employees...
Read moreUPDATE Dec 2023 - I took my 2005 Craftsman lawn tractor in for a head gasket. GREAT service. They estimated 2 weeks (Parts can be hard to get). Got it back in a little over a week. Running great. THANK YOU. Reasonable price.
I went in to get an odd part for a 15 year old rototiller. Unfortunately they didn't have it in stock. However, they made a real effort despite the fact that the part is only $3. I also noticed an older couple buying a leafblower. The salesman took his time explaining how long the batteries last etc. They were asking about buying an additional battery and he said "You really don't need one at this time" based on how they said they planned to use it. .
That honesty was refreshing to hear in a world where people let greed drive them.
I'll definitely be back for purchases and getting my...
