So today i ordered a pizza just your basic pepperoni and 2 snapple lemonades. I ordered them for delivery and when the driver showed up he gave me 2 pizzas and 2 lemonades. i said i only ordered one. He said i don't know but these are yours. i had ordered online so i thought i had made a mistake. And i said ok thanks and he left. then i looked at the receipt and realized i only paid for one. it was only $26 including tip and delivery fee. then honestly my first thought was oh ok free pizza. then i thought no that's not right small businesses are getting beat up enough by inflation. so i did the right thing and called them and asked for the manager. i explained that the pizza was great no problem but they gave me 2 by mistake and i wanted to pay him for the second one. He said no, that wasn't a mistake sometimes we send an extra pizza if you had to wait for a long time on your order. i said no honestly it was only like 25 minutes i will pay. He said thank you for calling to tell us that but it's free so enjoy. I thanked him and hung up. then i thought about it. i think it was just a little test of what's right. And then it was to show that being honest is the best and the small things matter. and that this guy was also just going out of his way to be fair and good. what's my point ?? That now more than ever we all need to just focus on what's right. Be good, fair and real with each other. And the universe will be kind in return. it's very simple and sometimes messages come in the simplest ways. It's what we take from it that matters. We all can improve somewhere along the line. it was a small thing but made me understand that sometimes the little things are the Most important things. so on that note it was South hampton Pizza. 746 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Anyone close to them give them some bussiness great pizza ! and great owners !!! pizza was hot and best i've had in long time !!!! give them...
Read moreWell, the pizza tasted quite good. Unfortunately, it had a lot of garlic on it, and my digestive system reacts very badly to garlic. I thought the pizza I was ordering was safe because other pizzas on the menu specified garlic. I wish, for the sake of folks like me, that pizza places would indicate if all of their pizzas are heavy on garlic (especially if some pizzas on the menu specifically indicate garlic).
Edit: After seeing a quick response from the owner, I have raised my review by a star in appreciation for the responsiveness. If I order again, I will test the offer to indicate my preferences, and if that works out, I will edit the post again and change my rating. Thanks!
Edit 2: I tried pizza from this pizzeria again. Instead of ordering online, I called and asked about getting a pizza with little or no garlic. Apparently all of their sauces contain some garlic, and some sauces contain more than others, so my options were limited. Nevertheless, the pizza I ordered tasted pretty good. I will likely...
Read moreI came on a mission to try what one reviewer claimed to be the best vodka /pink sauce he'd ever had. While it did not disappoint, maybe not the best I've ever had. Nonetheless, The Southampton Pizzeria and Restaurant has plenty going for it. The pricing is fair, with almost all entrees under $20 at the time of this review. The entrees come with a generous house salad with two of their house made garlic knots. The portions are also bigger than average. The sauces are all house made, which is hard to find at this price point. The menu is inventive and diverse, with a lot of options from appetizers, salads, pizzas and dinners. You'll leave full and with money left in your pocket. I'll...
