I wouldn't even give them a star but you have to give a rating to write a review. This place is absolutely horrible. They have no customer service skills what so ever. Back in the beginning of August my father suddenly and unexpectedly passed away 2 months to the date of my sister's wedding. When she called to explain what had happened and to see if my brother could take my dad's rental (which he had already put a deposit down on) they were nothing but rude about the situation. They had no sypmathy for my sister losing her father 2 months before the wedding instead they say well I guess because it's the same name we can do it this time. Between my brother in law and brother talking to these people, their attitudes never changed. Two days before the wedding my brother goes to pick up his tux and they have the measurements completely wrong. Some pieces were sized to fit my dad and others him. This was barely a big deal to them all they said was it'd be in the day of the wedding. They do this for a living, how can it be that he comes in to get sized and they're that incompetent even though it's their business to take the correct measurement. My brother later calls the store to talk to the manager once he gets on the phone he simply says oh I'm sorry to hear that let me get the story I'll call you back. He himself never calls back instead he has the rude employee that fitted him call back and just say that it'll be ready by Saturday. Then my mom decides to call and talk to the manager and he was nothing but rude to her saying I don't know what you want from me and when she finally says I'll call the corporation he replies good I'm done with you. What kind of manager is that? This is absolutely ridiculous. You're business is in bridal, this bride just lost her father 2 months to date before her wedding and you can't show the tiniest bit of sympathy and make this easy on her? Planning a wedding is stressful enough but try grieving your father, the man who is supposed to walk you down the isle, on top of it. I would never reccomend mens wearhouse to anyone, ever. Absolute...
Read moreI have been in high end sales for almost a decade now wearing suits daily. My cousin asks me to stand in his wedding and of course I was happy to accept. I suggested going to a mens express or something like that to get a decent look at a good price. He decides he wants to buy suits here instead. This place had the absolute worst service plus the suits are incredibly overpriced. The "manager" middle aged woman with black hair is in the middle of helping me when she answers her phone runs in the back and starts screaming at whoever it is about money, without saying a word to me. I was waiting for a solid 15minutes before another gentlemen takes over and he was decent enough. I return to pick up, walk in get asked what I am there for I say to pick up and the guy (who just asked what I'm there for) says he can't help he's busy and I have to wait for a manager (why ask?). About 5 minutes goes by and another couple walks in and this same guy asks them what they are there for and they say pick up and he immediately helps them while I'm still waiting. I don't say anything because I really just want my overprice mid quality suit and to leave. I try it on and the pants are way longer then what I agreed to last time (ordered 30 received 32) and when I tell the seamstress she say "I think they are fine you want them like that" I said "No they are not and I want them looking nice not bundled up around my shoes." I had to basically force her to do her job and make an adjustment, since they cant just swap them out because I purchased them even though they have given me the wrong size. I still have to go back one more time to pick up the pants and I can only imagine how great of an experience that will be. DO NOT SUPPORT...
Read moreThe worst clothes shopping experience I’ve ever had. Went to rent a tux for myself and my groomsmen for my wedding. The woman I initially dealt with acted as if I was wasting her time despite having made an appointment for this meeting online. Once the process began it wasn’t much better. I am a large gentlemen, I get it, I have a sense of humor about it and understand it is not gonna be easy to get a tux rented...again, my fault and I know this going in. That said, maybe don’t talk down to your customer about a needed size, especially when it’s a size you actively stock for tux rentals; I’m not asking for miracles. Once the “fitting” process began we pulled in another female employee, who was sorta helpful, and an older male employee who acted like the store manager. While the females were working on the issue at hand and possible solutions, the “manager” looks right at me and says ”you have no choice”; nope.
They said they would order one in to try the sizing that they seemingly were guessing at and charged at $40 deposit to do so. They told me 2-3 days, when I called to follow up, I was treated poorly as well. No tux ever showed...until 2-3 WEEKS later. By then I had dealt with Derrick and Julia at Jos A Bank down the street; who instantly bent over backwards for me and my wedding party.
Despite all this, today, the Thursday before my wedding, I have an email stating my tux is in...the one I never ordered or got correctly sized for. My fiancé had to go in to cancel as we used her card to put the deposit down for the sizing order. They did refund the money but were less than helpful to her too. The kicker; Men’s Warehouse and Jos A Bank are under the same parent company and have access to the same...
