Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store — Local services in Vacaville

I haven’t even left the parking lot and I’m writing this review. I haven’t shopped at this store in years. But I’m in town for my nephews birthday and he’s really into polo so I had to stop and get a last minute gift. I expected to get him a beanie, a hat and a hoodie. I looked around the store for about 8 minutes and no one asked if I needed help. Just stares and standing closely watching my every move, yet as I said, still no help. I called my brother to get an idea of what I was supposed to be looking for when I saw new customers being greeted and asked what they were looking for and if they needed help. There were about 5 or 6 people working, not one asked if I needed anything. I made the decision to leave because I will never spend money in a place with weak customer service. As I was leaving, the girl at the front was still talking to two women just as she had been when I first walked in. I walked past them still on the phone with my brother as a different associate said “ have a nice day” to which I ignored because why wait until I’m leaving to say a single word to me? So I came here on Nov. 1 at around 2ish. There were about 6 workers in the store and only about 4 customers in the store. Despite there being a lot of workers the place was messy and they were all just standing around. I KNOW more than half of them saw me, but I was not once greeted or asked if I needed help, which I dont really mind, but other customers do. I choose what I want to buy and I'm waiting at the registers. There are still 6 of them in the store and NOT ONE are at the registers. I made eye contact with about 4 of them while I was waiting at the registers. One of them continued to fold clothes, 2 of them continued talking to each other, and one of them finally decided to ring me up after he realized that none of his other lazy rude coworkers were going to. The thing that really pissed me off was that when 2 other customers (two middle aged white women) got in the line, two other workers got behind the counter with a sense of urgency to help them. I have a feeling that because I'm a young Asian guy who was wearing shorts and a tank top, they thought I was just window shopping or something. If I didnt have a coupon, I wouldve left this store. The store is beautiful and has a very upscale appearance and feel. However, the extremely high price of apparel and accessories quality has gone very, very low. All products are made in CHINA and are made of cheap materials. Scarves made to mimic cashmere made from acrylic and sweaters made of acrylic not cotton or wool. It's a shame! I'm not spending HUNDREDS on clothing made of low quality materials. This is why designer stores are struggling. Heads up to them, your customers are not fools. The QUALITY makes the label!
