Honestly I wonât be able do Strada enough justice with this review so just assume everything is 10x better that what I convey.
Application Process: 10/10
Alissa and the entire front office team make is SUPER easy. You wonât have to worry about forgetting to sign anything or about messing up. The constant communication between them and you make it such a smooth application process (not to mention theyâre super nice and friendly). We were very happy with it.
Alissa was very fun and helped us every step of the way. She is a great introduction to what life is at Strada 1200!
The Lease Agreement: 8/10
First of all we got $2,000 knocked off our first month which was AMAZING. We put that money towards new furniture and other items that we other wise would have had to put off until after move in. I will say thought they donât allow certain dog breeds / sizes (understandably, they are apartments after all) which made me a little sad. Just make sure you check with them to see if youâre furry friend can come with you.
Move In Day: 10/10
Went perfectly. We came in at 11am and we sat down with Alissa and she went over some stuff with us, gave us tons of gifts and goodies and then gave us our keys. The open design of the apartments allowed us to really easily bring in and place furniture which we LOVED.
The Actual Apartment: 10/10
If youâve take a tour of the apartments youâll know exactly what I mean when I say theyâre STUNNING. If you love modern and open aesthetics then this is your dream apartment. My girlfriend and I went with the one bedroom and it is gorgeous. It has the perfect amount of storage for us since we are younger and donât have years and years of stuff built up.
In the kitchen thereâs tons and tons of storage / cupboards so if you love cooking youâll have plenty of room to store pots, pans, spices, plates, bowls and whatever else your heart desires. Did I mention thereâs a lot of storage in the kitchen?
The bathroom is phenomenal, plenty of room and storage space just like the kitchen. There is a huge mirror above the sink that makes it feel much much more spacious and the shower / toilets are pretty nice as well.
The bedroom size I would say is average and would fit everything any normal person would need with some room left over. We have our bed , night stands , a desk, and some lights in there (we store our clothes in the closet so no need for a dresser). The room isnât HUGE but it also isnât small. I would say itâs a really good medium and a good use of the space.
The Community: 10/10
Iâve met a few people so far while out and about and everyone seems extremely nice and friendly. Itâs completely gated in and VERY well lit so you will feel safe moving around at night if you have to.
The Location: 9/10
Moving from the other side of Vacaville Iâm much closer to everything I constantly visit. The Outlets , My work , Nut Tree Plaza etc.. itâs a very good spot to easily get around Vacaville.
Final thoughts:
Eventually the newness and excitement of new big things in your life wears off and you start to appreciate them less. I donât expect that to happen here. It is a genuinely beautiful and amazing place that you canât help but look at every day and realize you are living in the best apartments in Vacaville.
*side note: Strada did not pay me or encourage me to make this review , I just would of liked to have a comprehensive review to read when I was moving in so Iâm leaving you my complete unbiased or...
Read moreHome sweet home. A very nice apartment complex located in Vacaville. The surrounding area has so much to offer including the creek and its fantastic homeless encampment, stabbings just outside the fence, and Target just a few blocks away. The fellow residents are incredibly friendly and definitely love to use the Strada amenities. On a daily basis you'll get to see your neighbors interacting through drug deals in their drive-ways, friendly homeless people stealing things off of 1st floor balconies and rifling through the trash, and if you're lucky even the friendly armed robbers might stop by to welcome you to the neighborhood. Everyone loves it here, how could you not, even the bugs seem to take liking to the facilities and just like a doggy door, Strada leaves lots of places for the little critters to stop by including through holes in the baseboards, up the foundation and into your bathroom cabinets, you name it, there's a way for them to get in. It even smells homey, I get to walk up to my front door, and am immediately greeted with mine and my three neighbors 4 day old trash that the valet trash didn't pick up again. But back to the amenities, its so nice to have community accessible things like the basketball court and pool that don't require key fobs, that way even kids who don't live here and non-residents can come stop by daily. Forgot your gate key, no worries 80% of the time the gate is broken and stuck open so no need to remember! And that package you're waiting for well if it doesn't fit in an amazon locker, they'll just leave it in the unlocked, outside the gate mail room sitting on the floor, so anyone, even a non-resident could come pick it up for you. In all seriousness, you get one parking spot for every single apartment (even triple occupancy), there are maybe 50 uncovered spots in the entire complex which is not equivalent to residents, guests will regularly park in resident car ports (which can only be helped if the staff is in the office, good luck on weekends), there is an infestation of ants (to which the staff promised would be sprayed, only for that to never happen), the homeless people walk through the open gate at all hours, the trash company that you pay for may not even come, and the staff will do absolutely nothing about any concerns. I will say the interior of the apartments is very modern and pretty, the appliances work, and it is near a highway and grocery stores. However, I will also say that you will be paying an absurd amount for amenities that people use for free, valet trash collection that isn't guaranteed, and for a secure complex that lacks even basic security measures. I would strongly suggest finding...
Read moreIve lived at Strada for a year so far. I love my apartment (studio), as it has stainless steel appliances, a spacious restroom, and patio. The biggest fault of this complex is the Leasing Agents in office, specifically Ms.Ashley. I have had a numerous amount of interactions with her. One specific time I had called about missing packages and I am greeted with attitude & being cut off. I had put in a work order and maintenance came to look, ordered a part and said I was good to go to use till the part came in. After, my washer leaked everywhere causing a flood in my unit. A week has passed and I finally receive a call from Ashley about my washer. After having to have put a second maintenance request in. She gave me the same information as I received the initial time on 22 Dec (Mind you it is 30 Dec). Ms. Ashley has constantly made me feel as if my complaints about my unit / questions I ask are an inconvenience to her. I pay $2,350 for a studio and itâs ridiculous that Stradas mail room has no lock after hours and the camera is broken (per Ms.Ashley verifying), I am greeted with constant attitude and no help from the Leasing Agent staff, and how maintenance hasnât prioritized my units flood. I am having to wash clothes at an alternate location with NO estimated time given to me (even when asked) when my washer / flood problem will be resolved. I will not be leasing here again which is unfortunate. I will be reaching out to the manager and whomever is above...
