Saigon Phở — Restaurant in Vacaville

Tough to say. The people that works there are nice and friendly. But in my opinion, ratings should be about food foremost then service second to it. Stopped by on the way to sac, and was trying to miss the traffic on 80. Went in around 600pm. Ordered the brisket with added meatball. Food came out fairly quick. It had chicken with meatball in it. The lady behind the counter noticed something wrong and came to my table, possibly due to the fact I was stirring the soup aimlessly. She took the bowl without saying anything and asked the young girl what I had ordered. At that point she said she think it was #8 with meatball. I didnt remembered so I let it be. The bowl came out and it had meatball with rare slices of beef. Lol. At that point I didnt really care and just ate it. If it was good I could care less what they had brought me. But boy the broth was so bland and watery. That in turn made the rare steak bland as well, due to the soaking up of broth while the steak cook. The meatball tasted very spongy, almost like it was taken from frozen to edible within 5 minutes. I had to salvage the meal by adding hoisin sauce to the broth and made it somewhat edible. All in all I should've stayed in traffic and ate pho in sac. One good thing that came out from the meal was the avocado shake. It was ok....

My favorite phở spot in Vacaville!

I've gone here a few times and this time I had the phở đặc biệt and my wife got the bún bò Huế. Both were delicious! My wife is from Saigon and she said that the food was delicious and authentic.

All of the staff is kind and welcoming. The atmosphere definitely makes me feel like I'm in Vietnam which is awesome!

It's a small store so seating choices are limited. I think it's a Vacaville thing but this store also seems to put the hoisin sauce in red containers.

Overall, a great spot to get vietnamese food and I know I'll be coming back many...

Felt like pho but wanted to try a place I haven't tried before and chose Saigon Pho. The sit-down area is comfortable but small -- a large group would fill the place with conversation.

The pho was as I expected and that's OK with me. The portion and price of their large bowl was pleasing you me. I've had some bad or unexpected pho before. Not effin' up the food will get 3-stars automatically.
