Cascade Park Plaza — Local services in Vancouver

I hadn't gone to Trader Joe's, located in Cascade Park since before Christmas, and had a serious craving for their Butter Waffle Cookies and Trader Ming's Frozen Mandarin Orange Chicken. They were busy, which is not surprising since we're heading into the weekend with below freezing temps, snow, and ice.

They were out of the cookies but well stocked on the Mandarin Orange Chicken, so I bought 3 bags. I highly recommend it and depending on how much you eat, one 22oz. bag could feed two people, or a meal and leftovers for one. It's so good, I put it over rice, but you could put it over dry or cooked noodles.

They were well staffed with customer service associates and cashiers, including a quick check line with 2 cashiers. I've always received positive customer service at Trader Joe's. When I've asked a floor associate for help, I've never been made to feel like I'm interrupting them. The cashiers are fast, efficient, and friendly. The Trader Joe's that's supposed to be built in Salmon Creek has been delayed, again, so until it's a reality, I'll keep going to this store. The parking lot is awful! Know that most folks wish to park up front next to the shoppe they want to patronise. Do not do that! You will be trapped and at the whim and mercy of those who either, like yourself, wish to leave, or someone wanting to park up close, like you did. Not withstanding the Disabled spaces, try to park midway in the lot. Sure! You walk a small bit, but you can easily get in and out. Plan on getting out of your vehicle and moving a shopping cart that was thoughtlessly left by a lazy patron so you can park. The bright spot? There was a man playing accordion at the corner and he was brilliant. That WHOLE complex just seemed different with music playing....

I like Cascade Park plaza because of the right variety of places to shop. To my favorite stores actually three of my favorite stores the party supply store #party the the dollar store which is now $1.25 I believe. And of course my favorite TJ's AKA trader Joe's. Whenever I go to trader Joe's I always end up getting something unexpected because I like trying new things. We have a decent selection of wine and beer but they only carry one bottle of sake brand.
