See's Candies — Local services in Vancouver

My dad always comes here for christmas and I usually end up tagging along. Of course he waits way too long and ends up there when its SUPER busy and low on stock. He orders a LOT of chocolates and slows down the line (sorry everyone!) But the workers there were really caring about packing 10 boxes of chocolate despite their long lines. I feel like I would have been rushed and not done as good of a job, but all the boxes were neatly packed and looked just as nice as they would if we ordered only one box.

Sadly not a single vegan option that I could find. I really wish they would make anything vegan. Even their dark chocolate has dairy...

Me and my friend came to the mall just to go to See's candy. This was on Friday July 16th around 10:45. There was one customer ahead of us, we were waiting very patiently, as she was busy wrapping. She said she would be with us shortly. We were waiting approximately 5 to 7 minutes. After that another customer came in. After she finished wrapping, she went to help that other customer that had just arrived. My friend was so upset she just walked out the door... She was there for her birthday. I let the clerk know why we were leaving. That was awful customer service. I don't know if she will...

It's super awesome to be able to visit See's Candies here in Vancouver without the hassle of going to the second floor of the local mall. I love the atmosphere of this store, super fun to enter and look around. It's small but doesn't tend to get crowded as a specialty shop, which means that the employees can take their time in helping you out. Best thing is getting the free samples and trying out some different flavors. Sure, getting candy at this company is much more expensive than buying from the grocery store, but it tastes more refined and also gives you a better experience...
