Walgreens — Local services in Venice

I've been a Walgreens pharmacy customer for over 10 years but this particular Walgreens is so unorganized, they make me crazy. My doctor called in a prescription 2 days ago. One that is medically necessary & if I don't get it on time I will end up in the hospital within 12 hours. My doctor sent in a prior authorization which was approved YESTERDAY & when I went there to pick it up last night at 5:30, (for the 2nd time), they said it wasn't approved, wouldn't go through my insurance Co & that I could pay cash if I wanted it sooner ( almost $1,000). So I called back this morning & they again told me it wasn't approved & needed a prior authorization. After spending 2 hours on the phone, calling my doctor & my insurance company, they again told me that the prescription WAS APPROVED. So I called Walgreens back a few minutes ago & their recorded message said it wasn't ready but they were working on it. This pharmacy is completely understaffed & because of that I bet a lot if other patients end in the hospital because we can get out meds in time. This is a Friday so you can understand my urgency. Ordered a prescription on Thurs., 2/8. Was told it would be ready the next day after 10AM. It was not ready the next day or Sat. or Sun. and was told it would be ready by 10AM on Monday. Just came back from trying to pick it up but was told their orders never come in until after 3 PM. It seems that during season the staff, and I assume temporary, is less than accommodating or even pleasant. She practically called me a lier. I will try again after 3 PM and hope it is ready because I am now completely out of this blood...

Very rude customer service from a pharmacy staff. On several occasions. When asking a question about my prescription, I receive a rude short tone, and she actually interrupts my question by assuming what it is. Then I have to repeat it because what she assumed I was asking, was wrong. This has happened several times. I am not one to leave bad reviews. Customer service training is needed. It's unfortunate, I have been treated rude more then once. I will not be giving my business to 391 Tamiami Walgreens...
