Target — Local services in Ventura

I don’t usually go to this target so as a blind person, I wasn’t familiar with the layout. I was at the front and asked a worker if she could help me find tweezers. She said she couldn’t leave the carts but left to go get me someone. She came back and said someone would help me and to wait where I was. I waited and waited and no one came I was standing there for almost 10 minutes so I just tried to find them myself. I was finally able to find them with some help from fellow customers. I wasn’t able to see the price but just grabbed a pair. As I was trying to find a register a lady came up to me and asked me if I needed help. She was so nice. She checked me out and I realized I grabbed the wrong kind. She went and grabbed me the kind i wanted and this really made me feel like I was being taken care of. They DO have self checkout now, hopefully Google will fix their featured review to the contrary. This is my favorite Target. It's easy to find close parking and I can get a few quick groceries or paper products and the price is right. The cashiers are friendly, many have been here for years and are quick and efficient.

Compared to the Target in the Ventura mall I find this one easier to navigate since it's all on one level and it seems like they have a bigger selection. Sign up for the Target debit card and you can save 5% on your purchases; the amount of your purchase comes out of your bank account the same way it would with your bank's debit card. Don't forget the app for the Cartwheel discounts to save even more; you can use your phone to scan the items you place in your cart to see if there is a discount. I stopped over at the shopping center to get lunch at The McDonald’s in the target shopping center and have my bike worked on and the security guard was extremely rude I guess you can’t wait in the parking lot I assumed as he comes up to me wanting me to explain myself I said why I didn’t do anything wrong there’s no sign says I can’t wait here, and he refused to talk to me unless I roll down my window I told him you show me what I did wrong and he proceeded to ask me to prove why am there why should I have to prove that I’m spending money somewhere Shouldn’t just the fact that I’m spending money give me enough to have the I guess privilege of waiting in What seem to be a nice area But now I guess I’ll take my money elsewhere these people are to prejudice and assume too much of people yes I know there’s a problem with homeless and those living in their vehicle but this is...
