Rubicon Theatre Company — Attraction in Ventura

Their auditorium is a very small one but the staff turns that to their advantage making best use of the space to stage a show with an intimate atmosphere. I felt like I was right up on stage with the actors.

I could tell that the entire cast and crew had such a passion for their show. It's really nice to see a live performance and feel the energy between the actors and the audience. You owe it to yourself to find the time to attend a live show!

Also worth pointing out that the theater is just a few blocks from downtown puting it in easy walking distance of lots of great restaurants and bars where you can enjoy the nightlife...

This is an excellent theater with quality, professional acting. Saw the production Sylvia recently and that was no exception. Ticket purchasers should be aware however that there is excessive language in this show, so although the play is described as a "sweet story" about an "adorable mutt," this is not a show for the whole family. It's unfortunate as the acting is so top notch that the repeated use of profanity isn't necessary or clever. We will certainly attend this theater again, but if unfamiliar with the script may have to inquire beforehand...

Very Enjoyable! A bit long and some Actors & some Actresses rushed with their lines and , but this was most likely due to stage nervousness . I understand that they are very young and learning theatrical skills with live performances. Over all, the Play and Performance was very entertaining! Sorry, but I use Hearing Aids and Truely tried to capture the Chacters' wonderful Dialogues, but missed parts. I am Happy to have seen the young children performing so well on stage. It was POSITIVE for all there!...
