We walked into your new store in Vernal, Utah not having a clue of what it was. We found things that made a laugh and we found the perfect gift for those that we were struggling to find something for, and finished up the last bit of shopping we needed. Once our basket was as full as we could get it and with us discussing going home getting our 5 kids and coming back, and letting friends know of this new place, it was a truly wonderful experience. Until we hit the checkout. Here is where I realized that there were no cashiers. When I go to a restaurant I expect someone to cook my food. When I hire a contractor to replace a waterline, I expect them to do the work, if you want me to check myself out, you need to pay me what my going rate is. And then the icing on the cake, you try to charge me for a bag to get the merchandise that I just purchased to my car. This is not California or Oregon, and no, you will probably never miss my business, even though I left $200 worth of merchandise on the counter because I couldn't get it to my car. But in a small town like we have, I bet you the difference between my business, my families business, and all my friends business you will feel. Good luck staying in business in this town.
