My laptop – in common with that of so many others – is central to my professional endeavors. I doubt it’s difficult for anyone reading this to imagine the stress that comes when something that integral to your work is unexpectedly damaged. And yet damaged it was, and I count myself extraordinarily fortunate in the truest sense of that phrase to have been able to turn to Valueline Computer Services to see it repaired.

Let’s get the basics out of the way first: Valueline’s service is, to my knowledge, without equal. Now, the specifics. The problem with my device was something that was expected (though not guaranteed) to be a pretty quick fix. When that turned out not to be the case, Oleg kept me consistently apprised of his progress. What’s more, he could have declared “good enough” two or three times over the course of the process, but refused to do so: he was determined to completely repair the problem, even though I would’ve happily given a 5-star review if it was only 80-90% fixed. After all, that’s 80-90% that I certainly couldn’t have fixed. All this extra work took time – time that I wanted to compensate him for. Yet he adamantly refused to accept more than what was quoted when I first reached out to engage his services.

Mine was a minor job; I can only imagine the higher value engagements that were in the queue. Yet Oleg treated my project as if it were of unsurpassed importance – and, let me remind you, did so while not only not expecting a big pay day, but actively refusing one. I cannot recommend his services highly enough. His experience, knowledge, and expertise are all self-evident, his prices far lower than I had any right to expect, and his personal code of professional ethics praiseworthy to the highest degree. I was cleaning my keyboard and ended up getting moisture inside my MacBook Pro. At first, everything seemed OK, but within an hour I couldn't use the track pad and couldn't type in a URL to navigate on the net. There were a number of other problems too that made the laptop pretty much unusable. I called Oleg and he made time for me to bring it over right away. One of the many things I like about Oleg is he makes sure you understand what the problem is and what the plan will be to fix it. He also listened to what I had to say which is pretty rare in this day and age.

Oleg is just a really good guy and treated me like he would treat someone in the family. He also always kept me in the loop and even dropped off my computer so I could keep working on my own business. He's the poster boy for what customer service should be and, obviously, cares about people. I also thought, for all the time and effort he put in, he was extremely affordable. His, is one of the first companies I've dealt with that actually merits its name... Valueline. Last, but not least, my MacBook Pro works great again. Don't hesitate to call Oleg when you have a computer problem. I guarantee you won't regret it.

Oleg replaced my hard drive on my All-in-One computer. First of all, I did not even think this was possible because I did not think All-in-One computers were serviceable - not true!! Although my hard drive was still working, I wanted a faster drive. I purchased the drive, and Oleg used cloning software that mirrored my hard drive so I would not have to reinstall Windows and all my other software. This process took a few others, and Oleg patiently waited for it to complete successfully. Once it did, all that was left was putting everything back together and firing it up.

My computer is now running at lightning speed, and problems I was having with opening up some applications are now gone.
