Giving this company 1-star because -30 was not available!!! This has been the absolute worst transaction of my life and the customer service…..WOW!! Joseph the manager is a total joke, not only did he disrespect my husband and I he is complete liar along with his team! We went in at the first of August to buy a living room set and dining room table, we were excited because we were buying a new home! We were told everything we wanted to hear so we decided to buy both and paid in full! We stressed over and over that we would not need the furniture until our house was ready, didn’t seem to be a problem, WRONG. The very next day we were informed that they could not deliver to our town, which is about and hour away and we’re refunded the $160. Ok so two weeks later our furniture arrives, i let the rep know it would be another month until we will pick it up and now all of a sudden it’s an issue! We asked over and over if this was ok….apparently not. So I wanted to go ahead and cancel the order since they couldn’t keep their word and found out that it would be $700 restocking fee!! Over furniture we never even touched! So Joseph guaranteed he could store our furniture as promised so we wouldn’t lose that money. So our situation changed, not their fault, so we decided to get the furniture delivered to our house in Gonzales( I called and checked delivery to that area and it was yes) I was informed they can’t re-deliver…..well it was never delivered at all so how can you redeliver? And then the rep slips that it was sent back to Katy awhile back, that’s when we demanded a full refund which should have been offered in the first place! This is when Joseph got very unprofessional and disrespectful so we call corporate and talk to Margarita to get a District manager number, email ANYTHING! I still have not heard from that fool! After 2 1/2 months we finally got a full refund but TRUST ME…..we got the run around so bad from these people!! SHAME SHAME SHAME on this...
Read moreFRAUD!!! My grandma and her daughter went into this store a couple of weeks ago. She found something she really liked and wanted to purchase. She told the sales people she was working with (Jay and Alfredo) that she wanted to go ahead and purchase. My aunt accompanied my grandma because she is her translator first of all. Before my grandma started applying for financing with SYNCHRONY she says she was asked for her account and routing number... I have applied for credit card cards with Synchrony multiple times and they never ask for that kind of banking information unless you are making payments when you purchase... anyways, they told my grandma she was approved for 1,500. my grandma never bought, they did not receive any merchandise from this store and all of a sudden when they call synchrony they don’t exist!! She called abel Furniture and they don’t exist!!?? However, right after they went to the store money was being withdrawn from her bank account into payments for Synchrony! We contacted Synchrony again and they stated no account exists with my grandmas information like her social. We came to the conclusion that the man who asked her for her banking information (whom shouldn’t have needed it because you don’t need that information to run applications with synchrony) is using her information to pay for someone synchrony account. Due to them acting like they don’t know her and synchrony advising us there is no information on my grandma even applying with them , we now have to go out of our way to take this into higher matters to be dealt with... this place is only good for taking advantage of people they see as “easy” to abuse. The fact that they would even do this to my grandma really boils me to the core. I hope that who ever is using her information to pay their synchrony bill will get caught real quick because that is just ridiculous. I can’t imagine how many elderly people have been taken...

This store's customer service is despicable and pathetic.
After being told that the chest of drawers I ordered was ready to be picked up on Thursday, December 28, 2023 I went to pick it up. After waiting in line, and giving the workers my name, they finally came back and told that my chest of drawers was still on their truck. Therefore, I would have to come back the next day on Friday to pick it up. They also told me that I would be called in the morning to let me know when I could pick it up. But after not hearing from them, I called them at 11:00 a.m. and was told, "yes, it's ready, come and pick it up." I go and pick it up and when I unpack it, it's cracked from top to bottom on the left side. I called them to let them know that the chest of drawers is damaged and was told that they will need to re-order another one, but I have to bring the damaged one back before they can re-order another one. And the re-ordered one will not be in until January 12.
How would you feel if you were told this after the furniture store dropped the ball on this order, not once, not twice, not even three times, but four times!
To make matters worse they never apologized for the inconveniences they caused and the damaged furniture!
Their arrogance and not offering an apology is exactly why I returned the damaged chest of drawers and asked for a refund. I also asked the woman at the front office for the name of their manager and she gave me a card and wrote, "Harry," on the card. I asked for a last name and she said they were not allowed to give out the last name.
Imagine that - they have a manager, but they can't give out his last name!
I will never patronize this store ever again and intend to let their CEO know about my experience.
This type of service is inexcusable, unprofessional and certainly...
