I loved my experience with Boot Barn. I needed my leather cowboy hat to be steamed and reshaped. When I moved to my new home my hat became crumpled and flat, so I haven't been able to wear it at all. It looked horrible and unfixable. Despite living in the High Desert were many places have a western/farming/Old West theme or feel to them, nobody could tell me where to get my hat fixed. Finally I met a man with a cowboy hat he's obviously had for many years, and he directed me to Boot Barn. He just didn't remember what he paid, and to my surprise, when I walked in and talked to the staff there they were able to work on my hat free of charge. When I went to pick up my hat they showed me how to maintain my hat better myself and what they did to work on it. My hat came out amazing, way better than I had imagined it would. My h at went from looking unfixable to looking great.
As far as the actual boots at Boot Barn, they had an amazing selection. Every time I go I see boots I want. I wear a size 14EE and they have several boots in my size and even bigger. The prices may seem high/expensive for some people who don't buy high quality boots or goo work boots in general, but from what I'm used to having to pay for boots in my size that are high quality and suitable for real work needs, Boot Barn has really great prices. For the high quality of the boots, the price range from Fair to Low. It was initially hard to get to because I always see the store from the highway but never saw how to get there from the street. Once I found out how to get there I realized it's very easy and convenient to get to Boot Barn and in and out of their...
Read moreI was referred to this business on February 8th by some friends. I was having a special event and from what I was told, Boot Barn would have been the perfect place. My husband and I arrived there and there were 4-5 employees all at the front of the store talking. I was so excited and amazed looking around the store because it looked like the place would have everything I needed. Once the employees saw my husband and I they immediately disbursed. One went into the back and the others went as far away from us as possible. They all disbursed without saying a word to us. My husband immediately noticed that our money was no good in this store and walked out. I looked around and noticed that if I went to buy something at the register, there would by no one to take my payment. Let me mention that our friends that referred us are Caucasian and we are Native American and African American. It was obvious that this business has no room for people like us. In 2019 you would think that people...
Read moreMade a substantial purchase over the weekend. We changed our minds on a few items but when we went in today to return the items, although Giselle was extremely helpful & kind the 'manager' seems to like to treat people like they are beneath her. She proceeded to act as if the items were stolen, even with the tags and receipt in hand. Because the tags were not attached (although they were not attached at purchase, & most items in the store dont have tags anyway),'Manager' still made it a point! She refused to return an $80 vest and forced an exchange. She also refused to return the Hat until the employee said, " I remember him, I had to go get another item to scan it." I guess at Bootbarn needs the $80 that bad.... it would be one thing if it were an employee not knowing , but a rude, disrespectful manager being accusatory to a regular customer WITH a reciept is unacceptable. Good reason why everybody orders online check...
