Los Jalapenos Mexican Food — Restaurant in Victorville

I’m a lil under the weather so I was going to do the original order from Richie’s Diner (menudo and pozole 🤍) highly recommend btw but I was craving albóndigas. I looked up a few places and ordered here. I never ate here but no one else delivered albóndigas so I picked this place and it’s also close so delivery wouldn’t take long. When my husband and I received our food, we just started laughing and pmo so bad at the same time. There’s no way my albóndigas came with only 3 meat balls, 2 carrots and one dam papa! My husband ordered Birria and the lil bowl of meat was crazy we basically had juice from sopas and very very little meat! No lemon, no onion nor cilantro! lol our tortillas were not soft they were already getting hard. I spent on food delivery and tip of $49 for large albóndigas and a large Birria with NO DRINKS. Just TWO things. I will never do that again. Back to Richie’s I go and I will never order from this restaurant ever ever again! Waste of money! ( in the pic of the cup that has two utensils in it is my husbands birria juice, he tore his tortilla up and put it in the cup of birria juice because the tortillas were hard so it made it soft when he put it there ) but i should have done that to mine. SADLY DISAPPOINTING I would not refer to the food as authentic at all. Have you ever had Uncle Ben's minute rice? Just add tomato sauce for color and minimal flavor, and you have the same thing. . I judge a place by how they prepare a basic staple of Mexican food, the rice, and they failed miserably. . I'm not sure what I was served, but that's not even remotely close to any Al Pastor I've ever had. . I don't like posting negative reviews, but I could not consciously allow anyone to experience a complete waste of money on what is falsely referred to as authentic...

Highly recommend this place! Victor has the greatest customer service approach! Very nice very friendly & welcoming! The place was very clean, authentic & flavorful. We are definitely coming back!!! No cans here! All homemade! We ordered the taquitos combo & the carnita burrito. Was a hit! Aguacate is perfect with the right amount of lime. The salsa were mild green, medium red, & 911.
