I recently ordered a birthday cake from here and it was soooooooooooo DISGUSTING. This is the 3rd cake, the first one was good but those last 2 I almost threw up. I really would like to know what the heck they are doing to those cakes! The cake tasted stale like they baked it days or even weeks ago and froze it and then when you place your order they thaw it out and slap some icing on it and a picture! That yellow cake was so stale tasting and really dry, it wasn’t moist and fresh AT ALL! That cherry filling you could barely see and it was nasty too so I wasn’t too upset by that part! I’m going shopping and buying my own everything, piping tools, cake decorating kit, to bake my children’s birthday cakes and cupcakes from here on out! I can cook and bake well but I was being lazy but not anymore! I don’t trust them touching something my family and I have to consume. They seem racist here too and the staff aren’t friendly at all. I’m completely done with Meijer. I just permanently deleted my Meijer account.

I enjoy shopping here & shop the Waukesha Meijer’s almost exclusively. They have a wide variety of products to choose from & also have many organic products (yellow potatoes, berries, apples, etc) which makes me so happy! I am especially fond of the grass fed beef & chicken, grass fed yogurt, the Applegate products, Earthbound greens, shiitake mushrooms, Amy’s soups, Meijer’s brand of cold dill pickles, a small but thorough Asian section, & that they offer options for clean ingredient Italian sauces & salsas! Several of Meijer’s own products are tasty & reasonable as well! Also pleased to see a tasty variety of block Italian cheeses in the deli area! I am thoroughly happy with the pet food section, housewares, appliances section, make up section, electronics, & the pharmacy. The store is clean, staff is kind, & produce/butcher staff are always willing to answer questions regarding products. I enjoy this store! I only wish they offered deli salads without mayonnaise or dairy free options. Also the clothing section could have an increased quality in fabric, material often feels thin & quite honestly cheaply made.
