George Webb was an important part of Milwaukee history, and his namesake restaurants are a Milwaukee institution. If you have the extra time, try this in stead of fast food. In any case, a Bag of Burgers from George Webb is not only more economical than Mc-you-know-who's, the burgers and fries are better. You'll get a proper amount of real onions if you ask for them, too. (Unfortunately since the new ownership, you don't get far too many onions anymore.). Your kids will get Oreo cookies which they'll appreciate much more than one of those cheap plastic toys.
If you call ahead, food is normally ready for pickup within five to fifteen minutes. If you have multiple stops, this works very well, and tends to make picking up food at George Webb more convenient than a drive thru. Keep a printed menu on the wall at work, or download it for your phone. If you're not in a hurry, sit at the counter and have some coffee and chili. They do have Tabasco sauce here! Maybe spend a little more time and have the Wheatcakes. You won't regret it.
George Webb isn't open 24 hours, but the 23 minutes 59 seconds (with a minute of overlap between two clocks) is close enough, and might be more...

Many people were waiting for their orders and one of the workers was dancing in the kitchen The order was not ready and he was told he would have to wait half an hour. He said he wanted to cancel the order and was told I would have to since I placed the order online. I called multiple time and the phone was busy. I tried a few days later and the person that answered said he could not refund money willie-nillie and to call when the owner would be there. I did call and spoke to the owner. She gave me a hard time saying she could not refund the money, that I would have to contact Door Dash. She began yelling at my husband and me. I did call the main office and spoke with Ryan who was very nice. He said he would take care of it. The owner did call me back and said she would refund my money. I have gone to the George Webb on Bluemound Road and Delafield Street without any issues, but I will never...
