At 12:45 p.m. I went into Einstein on 27th and Oklahoma. Not only was I not greeted after wandering around the counter for a moment 1 employee says I'll be with you in a moment and there was literally nobody in the store except three employees and myself. The employee disappeared behind the dividing wall, never to resurface again. After standing there like a lost egg, I decided to leave because it was easy to sense that I would not get proper service. The appearance of the place looks disheveled and not clean. No indoor dining as they used to have and the one up on the east side of Milwaukee looks like a bomb hit it. Read moreI was really disappointed with my recent visit. When paying with a card at the drive-thru, I was presented with four tipping options—yet not a single one allowed me to decline. Tipping should always be a choice, not something forced on customers.
To make matters worse, the service didn’t reflect a level of attentiveness that would warrant a tip. Employees seemed more focused on their phones and chatting with each other than on helping customers. It’s frustrating to see tipping culture being taken to this extreme, especially when the service doesn’t match the expectation.
This is nothing more than a greedy cash grab. Forcing tips on customers, especially for subpar service, is unacceptable. Management should be ashamed of themselves for pushing this kind...
Read moreI've been to the Sunset location twice this month. Both times I ordered a Bacon and cheddar. Today they didn't have wheat bagels and I said a plain one was fine, which it would've been, but my problem is that both times I ordered and got a bagel with only egg and cheese. I only order this because of the bacon, I have everything else at home. Not sure if the cashier just needs to repeat the order back to clarify, whether they should ALWAYS offer a receipt (was never asked if I wanted one) so I could've checked if my order was correct before driving home, or if I I'm expected to check my food before I leave, but I'm giving up.
