Updated: I want to add that we scheduled delivery to be a week after I bought the items and they were supposed to deliver anywhere between 5 to 7 PM. Well long story short they supposedly got a flat tire broke down, but I received a call at about 6 PM saying they were running a little bit late and I said that was fine. I will be home well then 9 PM comes and I haven’t heard nothing so I called them then that’s when I find out, they were broke down and then their manager called me and said they would have to deliver the very next day and that which she would refund me the $300 delivery for the three pieces which was one sectional though, but you got charged per piece of the sectional for the inconvenience which didn’t really work for me and I was pretty upset but then about 10:30 PM. I get a phone call from the delivery people saying they had their tire fixed and if I still wanted them to deliver, I said yes, and I jumped on it and they came straight out was great with delivery and so I called back to the manager the next day to let her know that I was happy about it and she didn’t have to worry about refunding me, but she still refunded me the delivery so that part was great but a little inconvenient but I was gonna be home anyway
Originally post: I was glad to see that there was a discount compared to the stuff in the regular stores and I will say that I was looking at a sectional that was $2700 listed and I asked them if I could get it down to 2500 for everything including shipping and taxes And they were able to do that but they told me that since my sectional had a chase and then two little arm pieces that hooked to it they charge $100 for shipping and since it was three pieces, it was gonna be $300 shipping and that seemed a little ridiculous to me because you’re shipping one item you just happen to break it up into three pieces. They were small pieces too. It was just pieces of a sectional so that seemed outrageous but that’s why I gave my amount and they did it so yeah, I was pretty satisfied except...
Read moreBuying a recliner is like buying new shoes. You have to try them on and test them out--and after working through many options, it can feel confusing. I was hesitant to go into the Outlet by La-Z-Boy because I anticipated high-pressure sales. But I was pleasantly surprised by Corey, who greeted me, heard my request for the freedom to start 'trying on' chairs, and gave me room to explore. He touched base with me a couple of times, then actually sat with me as I "thought out loud" about my options. When I finally narrowed the choice down to two, there was one I liked just a little better, but the back felt "loose." Corey took the time to educate me on how to tighten the tension--and he actually made a quick change which fixed my concern. The chair was perfect. Corey also taught me the life hack for removing and easily replacing the back so that I wouldn't be confused at home.
I was impressed, when I confirmed my choice, to see the whole team jump into action--working together to prep my chair for the trip home. A couple folks took the chair to the back to wrap in plastic, while Corey worked with me to process the purchase. Rather than just taking my payment, he and his colleagues interacted with me in a way that made me feel like my satisfaction was their only goal. They were jovial and educational and quick to provide answers for all of my questions. I came in for a chair, but I was being stewarded with "good vibes" that made me feel great about the whole experience. Corey gave me a blanket as a housewarming gift, then he and one of the guys who had worked with me at the register met me out back. They carefully loaded the car while we talked and laughed and I was on my way.
It was some of the BEST customer service i have experienced. Corey and the others are the folks I will contact FIRST for all of my future furniture needs. I am grateful and feel...
Read moreI stumbled across the LB Outlet while looking at FB for recliners for my barndo / garage. The pictures didn't have what I wanted but noticed some in the background. I went in to the Pickerington store and was greeted by Angel promptly. I found a set that was both very nice and in my price range. I left so that I could compare other stores including 2 American Freight stores and 2 Ashley stores as well as a Big Lots. I noticed at the other stores the employees sat at the desk and were on their phones or just talked and offered no help. They were over priced, MUCH lower quality, and virtually no inventory. I returned back to Lazy Boy Outlet the next day. In 15 minutes I had purchased 2 new leather recliners and he even helped me load my Suburban and was on my way. Thank you Angel for your service. Also. While waiting I noted the customer service provided over the phone by Angel making sure the customer on the phone was 100% satisfied with the power lift chair that the customer had purchased. Although it was found the chair was working properly during the call, Angel provided the professionalism and kindness required for outstanding customer service. Because of this I knew I had made the right choice with my purchase. Lazy Boy, you already have the best in quality in you products. Please do everything you can to keep the best in quality employees like Angel and the other 2 ladies that were obviously helping out...
