I honestly am not sure I can say enough great things about this place, I am just beyond impressed with every single aspect. My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere nice to go on a Saturday night, and we debated Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn and I am so glad I chose Longhorn! We checked in to put our names on the waitlist, and we were told 50 minutes-understandable for a Saturday evening. So, we decided to browse around at Barnes and Noble right behind Longhorn until we got a text that told us our table was ready. They were spot on with the wait time, and they even called me after I missed hearing the text on my phone to make sure I still wanted the table, instead of giving it to the next person. I appreciated this so much. Once we got back there, we were given our booth we asked for and the ambient lighting made the whole area seem cozy and relaxed. Our waitress was very prompt at getting our drinks and appetizer in, and even brought us some fresh bread to eat while we wait. This bread was just absolutely incredible. They honestly beat roadhouse with their rolls, and that’s not an easy thing to admit. Like this bread takes the cake with any complimentary bread given anywhere. Our food was freaking incredible. It was brought to us super quick and the quality was perfect. We both got the chicken tenders and fries everything was perfectly cooked, we didn’t have a single piece of gristle in our chicken, and our fries were just as great as the chicken. We never had an empty drink, refills were provided so quick. Our server never harassed us by bugging us every 5 seconds, but she was still able to serve us quickly and efficiently! The dessert was incredible, also! Super fresh and moist chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle. I just honestly cannot say a single bad thing about this location. If you’re looking for a nice date night out, I recommend...
Read moreIt's Longhorn, simple as that. However, one thing I can say is, there online ordering is by far some of the easiest and most accurate out there. Also, they usually get it right in the money. Most times whennwe go there we feel confident to grab our to go food and not even check it... That's a pretty big deal of you ask me.
UPDATE I have had nothing but high praises about this place for quite some time even after all the bad things. So I took a break from this place for a while because of it and then recently tried again. Unfortunately, I still don't have great things to say about the to go service. I want to start off by saying the food was decent overall. It was just the service that I received that gave me such a miserable experience... I ordered the food without issue and even tipped 25% on a to go order. Only to arrive at the time given, check in promptly and still wait 10 mins in the car. I then chose to walk in because I assumed they were busy based on the parking lot. Only to wait again for another 7-10 minutes as the bartender looked at me multiple times without greeting me or saying a word. Granted, I get your busy but a head nod would of sufficed. He finally asked me if I had been helped (obviously not) and grabbed someone. I was approached by the to go rep initials M.A. and she asked me about my order. She literally walks to the to go section and grabs my whole order that had been sitting there the whole time. Then says, "Sorry someone should of handled this." So after waiting a total of 28 minutes to grab my already prepared food. I was just told someone dropped the ball. While the food was good, it was clearly cooling and needed to be reheated when I got home. Family was unhappy and I felt like a fool that had been taken advantage of for tipping so much, again. This was clearly a smack in the face and I am...
Read moreAfter a rough experience at another local steak house, Longhorn was a breath of fresh air. There's plenty of parking, it's not cramped and crowded. Wait was short, and the booths were spacious, this is a point that drives me crazy at many places. I'm a big guy and at many restaurants I don't get to choose a table or booth and the booths are often cramped and uncomfortable and bolted to the wall so no shifting for some breathing room. I was pleasantly surprised by the space and comfort in Longhorns booth.
The restaurant was quite clean and service was great. We were quickly seated, menus were nice without being overly busy or flooded with too many options. Our server was very attentive getting us bread, taking our orders and staying up on refills. The bar moved quickly, sometimes I order a beer and it's 10 minutes waiting on the beer, my beer showed up same time as the other drinks.
Food was excellent, I like a nice lean steak cooked to perfection and their sirloin hit on all points. My wife's medium-well was perfectly cooked and my medium was spot on, I often order medium expecting places to actually serve me a level or two below but they did good. Seasoning was excellent, the broccoli was extremely well seasoned, by far the best I've ever had in a restaurant hands down. Mashed potatoes were flavorful and well made. Fried pickles are something I often order and am often disappointed in, these were great with breading that stuck and great flavor.
Overall, one of the best steak house experiences I've ever had. Atmosphere was very relaxed and professional. Prices were ok, not out of line for the industry. Definitely our new go-to for steak,...
