Wow! This restaurant made my son and I's entire day! It started when we walked through the doors - the hostess was so pleasant and sweet. She went to sit us at a table and it wasn't clean enough to her liking so she said "you know what, I don't love the look of this table so I'm going to move you to a different one". All while conversing with my son and I making us feel so invited into this restaurant for lunch. Next the waitress came over with a smile to take our drink order and we told her we had never been to a Red Robin before. She got us signed up for emails and that gave us a free appetizer & fry baskets! The manager is who brought those out to us - another happy smiling accommodative employee. He offered to go through the menu with us to help us decide what to eat since it was our first time. He got a kick out of my son's personality and the interaction and compliments were just enough to put smiles on everyone's faces. The food came out and it was fresh and hot and my son said "oh I could just cry with how good these wings are and how nice these people are". We went ahead and wanted to show our appreciation to not only the hostess for being so pleasant, but also the manager so we tipped them both. The hostess hugged my son so big and was so appreciative saying "this doesn't happen to often that I get tipped". Well let me tell you something: in this world.... In these days.... Service truly suffers and it's typically not a great experience anywhere anymore and employees usually make you feel like an unwanted burden and the food is subpar at best and it is very normal for me to walk out of a restaurant feeling like I just wasted my money and should have cooked at home. But this establishment went ABOVE AND BEYOND to not only make us feel more than welcome, to not only help us navigate the menu, to not only provide us with amazing food, but it's the feeling we left there with that I have never had in my entire 36 years of life. We were both so joyous and happy and appreciative and even though it's an hour and half drive from our home - we would make the trip once a week just to simply feel how we did yesterday. We even got free desserts 😋 But yeah I just had to get on here and hype this place up because it was an unforgettable experience!!! FIVE STARS HANDS...
Read moreMy cousin and I eat out every Friday, so we are always looking for new restaurants.
We decided last Friday to go to the new Red Robin. We arrived at 4:45 and were told there was a 30-minute wait. We thought we might as well stay. Their way of letting you know you can be seated is a text message on your cell phone. I didn't ask what happens if you don't have a cell phone. It was way too cold to stand outside, and there is very little room to sit or stand in the entryway.
After we were seated, a waitress explained the computer on the table for ordering and playing games. I prefer to speak to a waitress - not a computer. After trying to find a simple burger on the menu, we ordered.
The atmosphere is loud, noisy and chaotic. We were in the front dining room on the right. I noticed that if you have more than four people, seating is going to be a problem. Customers were adapting their own seating arrangements. One table put a chair at the end of the booth to accommodate the fifth person. I'm guessing there was another group of seven who were probably told they would not be able to sit together, so they moved the dirty dishes off a table, pulled the table and chairs up to the booth table. I can't remember customers of other restaurants designing their own seating arrangements. Usually you tell the hostess how many in your party, and when they tell you your table is ready, it is already set up.
The food - OK, but ordinary. There are other restaurants where I prefer the Burgers and Onion Rings.
I asked our waitress if they took reservations - she said no. I did not confirm this. However, I can see where they would not, since there is only one area that could possibly seat a group over four or five. There are bench seats where the tables could be pushed together, but those were all full - at least in our seating area.
Bottom Line - We will probably not go back. Maybe early afternoon would be more conducive to carrying on a conversation and...
Read moreMy family and I had an impromptu outing with my at this location, this past week ! It was clean and inviting, and we were greeted and seated immediately. We had our 14 month old Nephew with us and we were offered a highchair or a booster seat which was a great option. When seated, at the suggested table, we seem to be offered a 4 top option, which was close to a very large party of 13 gentlemen, and on the very next side was another family with a small child, also in a high chair, so it was not ideal for us. It seemed that we were being seated in an area that was to accommodate the waitstaff, as opposed to customer comfort, in a section that was not in such tight quarters, which would have been more comfortable. By the time our food arrived, with drinks, we had to rotate our selections for sharing Appetizers and accommodating our baby boy.
I ordered a delicious lava burger, which was listed to have the last steps performed at table side, however, it came out with the queso sauce already on it and my up charge of sweet potato fries , we’re cold! Shortly, after the waitress, serving the large party to the left of us brought the same burger , however, she demonstrated how the burger was supposed to be assembled & the Wow factor, which is a beautiful hot queso mix that covers the Burger, that is the last act of the presentation. AJ, the manager, came to check on us and he was polite and friendly, but we were knee deep in to our experience. However, he understood my request, and had the order remade completely. He is the reason, along with this delicious food that my Rating, is as it is. I am definitely willing to return and try more items on this very expensive...
