Our experience started off on a not-so-great start. My family of 5 sat down and we were not greeted until 5 minutes after we were seated. We were told by our server, Franco, that he would be right with us to get our drink order. Roughly 5 minutes after, Franco arrived and got our drink order. 10 minutes after receiving our drinks, we ordered. 2 of my kids ordered the French toast w/apple dippers, while my other child ordered the kids egg/pancake/bacon platter. My husband decided on the griddle breakfast sandwich and I decided on a build your own omelette (roughly $12) and substituted egg whites for an extra 50 cents. I asked for tomatoes, spinach, arugula, peppers, onions, chicken sausage, and feta cheese. After we ordered our food, we waited one hour for 2/3 of the kids meals to arrive. The rest of the food came to us a few minutes later, so my middle child had to sit while her siblings got to eat. During our meal, our server never offered refills. We had to ask multiple times for refills and syrup for the kids French toast. My omelet was TINY and not what I expected. There wasn’t hardly any spinach in it (this is sad because bob evans used to have the best spinach omelettes). It was served cold and, for the first time ever, I had feta cheese that was chewy. You can see in the picture, that the feta was discolored. Upon reading the bill, I could not believe that it was over $16 dollars for the most awful omelette I’ve ever had and couldn’t even eat. We won’t be back. Worst service, worst presentation, awful taste. 🤢. If you go here, I would recommend knowing exactly what you want and expect not to be given refills or be checked on. Your food will be cold. In the past our food has never been cooked correctly here, so make sure you have the time to wait an extra hour if they mess your order up...
Read moreI wish there was a 0 stars option because they don’t deserve the 1 star. This location has so much to fix to get back to Bob Evan’s standard. I submitted feedback on their website as well in hopes someone’s he these complaints. I NEVER take my time to complain but after giving this location yet another chance, I’m going to speak up. Clearly they are understaffed and mismanaged, to give an overview. Upon arrival there is no host to take names and give wait times. 5 families including us standing around waiting for someone to greet us. The restaurant itself isn’t even that busy, with plenty parking outside and open tables. We didn’t get attention until the server just received us to be seated. The table had to be wiped down again although it appeared already cleaned off. It was sopping wet from this extra wipe down. The coffee came out luke warm. No creamer we’re told, only had half and half. It took over 40 minutes to receive our food with no check ins by our waiter. 2 of the 3 meals we ordered were wrong. The food was cold. It tasted terrible. Our server is the same one we had from 5 months ago and it was the same exact experience then. I felt like I was being held hostage. I wanted to leave so badly even before the food arrived but tried hard to stick it out. Eventually my husband got up to request we pay and leave. Again, I never ever complain but it has been so consistently bad that I have to speak up. And never in my life have I EVER not tipped a server but today we did not. It was simply the worst restaurant experience (consistently) in my almost 40 years of life and I won’t forget this time. Read moreCurrently at the establishment and it took 40 minutes for us to be seated. The staff seemed very nice but the urgency at this specific one was very poor. My family and I watched as 13/14 different families walked out due to a high 40/45 minute wait to be seated while there were 16 tables or available for seating that we counted on our way to the table we were beating seated at. They said the kitchen was backed up but, The manager was never seen, at least by us. Usually the manager walks around and greats people and asks if everything is good and how the experience was and that never happened and the lack of help to the employees was even more disappointing because if they were so backed up the manager you would think would be all over the place helping out. The in-house customers should definitely be top priority but it seemed like they were more worried about the Togo orders or the “DoorDash” orders than the live customer. We love Bob Evans but this specific one was definitely not one we’d ever come back to unfortunately!! Not to mention it took 35/40 mins to get our food and it was just breakfast! Absolutely ridiculous at any place!
