I went into this Ulta location last night and had a terrible experience. I went in to have someone help me find a foundation. I've been struggling with the process of trying to do it on my own so went in to get some help from Ulta! When I arrived I couldn't find an employee anywhere. It took me 10 minutes just to find someone to help me. This employee then directed me to the Clinique bar where they had a Clinique professional that could help me.
I had the Clinique professional help me. She found a match for me and it looked good at the store, so I purchased it. As soon as I got into my car, I noticed that the foundation had oxidized and turned orange! So, I went in as respectfully as possible. I apologized since the foundation had looked okay in the store and explained my situation. The lady that was at the counter responded with, "I don't know WHAT you're talking about!" Then, she proceeded to tell me the foundation was fine and that I didn't need to return or exchange the product. I then pulled out a photo I took of it in the car. Then all she said was, "Oh." This was extremely unprofessional and rude! So, I went to the girl that had cashed me out prior and she then helped me find my shade.
Once she rematched my shade, she didn't even offer to help me match it to the rest of my face. So, I asked if I could fix it myself and she said yes, and that I could use the tester and walked away. I couldn't find any make-up remover so I asked another employee where I could find some to fix my make-up. She, yet again, directed me to the Clinique counter where the Clinque professional IGNORED ME. So, I gave up and just exchanged the product and went on my way to try it at home.

Read moreI have no words. I can't stress enough and must warn people not to go or take their kids to Ulta in Pickerington. We were so excited to get our baby's ears pierced. Unfortunately, the lady named Ari who did the piercing messed up and wasn't even close to the purple dot marked on her ear. Luckily, since it was so far off, she was able to try again since the piercing was in a different spot and after that one was done, I even said "are you sure they are aligned? That one looks higher than the other." She didn't listen to my concerns and disregarded them. Come to find out, I was right and the two earrings were definitely not aligned. The left ear was significantly higher than the right. Now we have 3 holes to take care of versus 2. Apparently, we can't fix it cause it takes 6 months for the inner ear to heal and then in 6 months she will be able to pull on her ears causing infections. When I called and spoke to two managers, the second manager told me that Ulta only cares about making money and Ari who did her ears, was just trained 7 days ago and confirmed that this was all new to her. What Ari should have done was be honest and say that she is new and to come back on a day where someone experienced in piercing baby's ears could do it. Now my beautiful 3 month old baby girl is disfigured due to people not caring what is best and only concerned with making money, even if the person doing it isn't experienced enough. Read moreI usually never take time out of my day to write negative reviews but today an Employee or manager made me feel uncomfortable enough to do so. I went into the store at opening time to return Make up that I had been told at a previous visit that I could return if I ended up not liking it. I’ve never returned anything from Ulta before. So this morning I did so at the only time I had time to. Which was as soon as they opened. Anyways the woman at the register was extremely rude. And gave me a hard time about returning my items at opening time because she didn’t want to give me their only money in that register. Understandable. But I didn’t want the store credit because I didn’t know when I’d use it. She then asked if I would come back an hour later. I let her know that I didn’t live in the area and was not able to come back. She then proceeded to give me a hard time about not living in the area with unnecessary questions which overall made me very uncomfortable. After complaining out loud to other employees and in front of customers I was finally refunded. And my receipt was tossed onto the counter. I usually go to this location with out any problems.
