We actually stayed at this same location a month ago and the elevator was still broken and the night time receptionist came off a little rude but maybe he was having a rough night? I don't know. Those were the only 2 things that I would say is the downside. Other than that, our room was clean, the location is super convenient, very close to the highway, walking distance from RM 224 you can see how far Crackel Barrel is, The Fogata Grill (authentic Mexicana restaurant) it's even closer, Wendy's, a salon and spa and so much more. They have breakfast from I believe it starts at 6am-10am. The dining area is kept clean. They have eggs, sausages sometimes potatoes, bagels, Thomas muffins (there's a toaster to warm these), you can make you're own waffle and they supply whip cream, sprinkles, syrup, banana, Coffee, touch less machine for juice like orange and apple juice. There's also a fridge with yogurt, there's oatmeal and of course cereal (regular milk and 2%). It's definitely a good location to stay at if you're passing through for a night or 2. The morning staff was very nice! Check out is at 11am.

When we walked into the room and was greeted by a personalized TV greeting that said, "Welcome [name of guest]". . . It was a very nice, clean and almost luxurious, room that we stayed in for a couple of nights with a movable sort of computer desk/table that you could pull out or keep out of the way. The sheets and pillows were all crisp and seemingly brand new. The bathroom was clean and even had a cute rubber ducky (a cute touch). I also liked that there was a tree just outside my window. Great location with stores and restaurants within walking distance. I believe there are security guards (I saw them at the breakfast area) and I appreciated the well-lit parking lot! All the staff I encountered from checking-in to house-keeping were nice and friendly. And, oh, there's a fire stick that and you just login with your account (Amazon Prime/Netflix) and just remember to log out of it when you leave. Will definitely stay there again next time we visit Columbus!

The first room I was put in the shower drain was clogged. Front desk said no one was on staff until the next day which was checkout so they gave me another room instead. I was happy with the second room until I saw the bathroom. The shower had black spots and the ceiling looked like it had been poorly patched up. I was in a rush so started the shower and that drain was clogging as well so I took all my things back to my car went to my event and drove back to Michigan right after the event. Definitely will not be back.

Im a out of state cancer patient and former director of sales and food and bevrage for the hilton in the outer banks of north carolina and event director. I travel this far weekly due to rare conditions and medical help actually 58 surgeons on the east coast alone denying my medical treatment and in the medical books history after clevleand clinic failed at a big surgery . I have a mediport and have to access it and my life depends on it. I am very careful where i choose to stay and stick with hilton properties...today was the worst day in my 26 years of life. I was flooded and lost mostly everything in hurricane matthew and just got a new ford f 150 lariet and my truck was busted into broken windows and hotwire and all of my medical supplies stolen down to my underwear and my mom and i both lost more than 8k in material items inside alone. Mind you im disabled parked in handicap and literally in front of my truck with window of hotel on bottom floor and accessable locked door that is supposed to protect the customers and employees directly and survellance...i was right in front of camera at that. My mom woke up abd found this oyt firsy and went to front desk to calk the police and were told that they dont do anything and dont come out unless it is valued at 3k or more whoch im at 22k and vounting and very sick from it all...as i was seeking help the gm which was the same night auditor diddnt offer to help me clean up glass or review the survellance or call the law..as i was askibg for managment above him not even knowing he was gm i was told u know how it works if you work for hilton and a chhuckle. This concered me badly as the hotel is supposed to be a safe protected place and promised with the locked doors at night and security more than ever. He saod he would have a employee come in and review the tapes and mail me a copy. 10 steps forward maitence was beeped on the walkie talkie and i heard him say we have another one in the back parkibg lot this was 10 am by the way. I wasnt even told that 3 vehicles were broken into mine one of them and one already beforr me andd after. Mine was the obly personal vehicle and is my lifeline as im limited abd already past the 8 months left to live as they projected and my mom a cancer survivor as well. I was up and down throwing up all night from treatment and my mom exhausted from the 14 hour drive alone to get there. Either way when i was tokd this isnt normal it doesnt happen except for holidays.... what i want to know is who was not doing there job and not making sure the hotel is safe secured or updated and being ran by unprofessional and cruel mean employees or that a disabled sick person is safe let alone the hotel employees children or even a by stander is wanted welcomed...i was charged for the room and asked maitence peronally to help me as they knew i was sick and even they were in awe but aaid it happens ALL the TIME...NOT JUST HOLIDAYS. EITHER WAY A PERSON WITH SOME SENSE OR EVEN TRUSTED LET ALOBE RUNNING A HOTEL LOW KEY AND NOT PROVIDING CUSTOMERS THE LITTLE BIT OF SERVICE THEY COULD DO FOR US AND THEM...ALMOST AS IF IT NEVER HAPOENED AND HOW DARE I SAY ANYTHING UP FRONT. THEY STOLE MY HANDICAP TAG EVEN.... IM NOW HOSPITALIZED AND MY VEHICLE IS DONE AND MY MENTAL STATE WORSE THAN EVER AND PTSD ALSO IS ONE OF MY BATTLES. I SAVED MY HOTEL AND SALT SCORES (SURVEY THAT CORPRATE RATES AND GETS REVIEWS FROM AND ALSO OWNERS AND FUNDING OF THE HOTELS) WHILE WORKING BEFORE KNOWING I WAS DEATHLY ILL. REVIEWS MEAN EVERYTHING IN THE HOSPITALITY SIDE AND NEVER EVER DID I THINK I WOULD VE ON THIS SIDE OF THE SURVEY AND WOULD NOT SAY A PEEP AS I KNOW HOW HARD IY IS TO KEEP AND WORK A HOTEL LET ALONE A BAD REVIEW OR ANYTHING UNDER 5 STAR RATING...WILL CRUSH AND SHUT DOWN THE DOORS IMMEDIATLY AND CORPRATE COME IN TO TAKE THE NAME AND ALWAYS ALWAYS CUSTOMER FIRST EVEN IF THEY WERE WRONG PROFESSIONAL AND CUSTOMER FIRST PERIOD. ROOM WAS DISCUSTING AND LITERALLY HAD BUGS COMING OUT OF MY BED AS SOON AS I PULLED BLANKETS DOWN BUT OUT OF RESPECT FOR MY MOM WHO HIT THE BED AND...

My stay has not been bad at all. Everyone is friendly. I’ve just had one issue. Mind you I have been working part time for Hilton brand hotels for over 5 years from housekeeping to front desk and I will not disclose which location or brand i work at. I am also a medical assistant. With that being said I did an e-check in on Monday afternoon. Tuesday I get a call saying that there is a strong smoke(marijuana smell) I informed them that I did not smoke. I haven’t had a complaint since then. Wednesday and Thursday I was barely in my room today I extend my stay make a new reservation e-checkin because I was at my dads bedside this morning and did not know if I would return in time to extend my stay and bring them my if and run my card and everything again. I get a knock on my door around 1:15 stating the odor is strong in the hall way and my room. I offered him to come into my room and take his mask off once I put my own so he could smell the room. says the house keeper said she had to spray febreeze all over my room. Now again I have cleaned a thousand plus rooms and I know the smell of cleaning products and febreeze I mean anyone does. I left my room after showering at 9:55 returned at my 10:30 my room had been cleaned no smell of febreeze or any other cleaning product honestly. I haven’t had any complaints since the initial one but today I have one and for the past 2 days I have only came to my room to sleep considering I have a sick father in the hospital who just suffered from a life threatening stroke. I really feel attacked and again I work for Hilton brand and in the medical field on top of having chronic asthma and a grandmother who died in January from lung cancer. Again besides that the Hampton is a nice hotel around everything but I just don’t like the way it was handled. On top I come in speak to whomever is at the front desk. They all know exactly who I am so if this has been a constant thing than it should have been addressed again and I should have been charged the fee and informed to vacate the premises correct?? Well neither has happened and I really feel picked on. They honestly could have gotten five stars from me but because of this incident I will be...

I planned to stay one night at this hotel before moving to another one closer to the convention center the next day to save money. I wholeheartedly regret this decision. The beds in our 2 queen room were so incredibly firm and uncomfortable that we could not get a proper nights sleep. Several times I woke up with my limbs going numb. I also believe maybe I was allergic to what they use to wash the sheets, or they just weren't freshly cleaned sheets, that left me covered in rashes by morning.

My most important concern, which I didn't even realize until much later, was revolving around the check-in process. I use the Hilton Honors account and had checked in prior to arriving. I often don't even go to the desk and just use my phone to unlock rooms. The staff member at the check in desk saw us arrive and insisted on creating a plastic room card for us, which I had no problem with. I said I had checked in on the phone and he just asked what our room number is. Never was this confirmed by looking at my app, asking the name on the reservation, checking an ID or credit card. I was thinking about this experience as I was falling asleep and dreaded on how unsafe this made me feel. No effort was taken to secure our safety since all that was asked was the room number. This lead me to feel a little scared whenever I heard footsteps in the hallway. Anyone else could have just provided a random/occupied room number and been given a plastic key in this instance.

Needless to say, next time I travel to Columbus for a convention I will not be staying at this hotel again and will just budget for an extra night at the...
