Escape2Win Princess Anne (Formerly Countdown) — Local services in Virginia Beach

We had a fantastic time. My wife, MIL, two kids (11 and 13), and myself did the Titanic room. The staff was very courteous and explained the procedure well. We told him it was our first time doing an escape room so he told us what to expect, including not to worry that if we get stuck we can always get hints to point us in the right direction. The puzzles in the room were a nice balance that made you think but nothing frustratingly hard. The only criticism I really have is that I think they were a little too quick on the trigger with giving hints/telling us that what we did was the right direction. but I have a feeling it's because we told him it was our first time. We probably did need a couple of those pointers early on, but then we flew through the second half of the room and he commented that we solved those much faster than the average team. We had almost 24 minutes left on the clock when we finished. Since we had extra time, and they weren't too busy at the moment, he gave us a peak into the other rooms they offer. My love and I had never been to an escape room until this one. We had a blast in the Pirates Treasure Room! It was so much fun! There are so many clues and puzzles to solve in order to unlock all the treasure chests to find the gems to break the curse in order to escape. The room was dimmed in light and really set the mood! The themed like decor was so cool. Our immagination was totally intrigued. Prior to arrival my other half was not really interested in what we were going to do, but afterwards he and I talked about it all evening and we are definatly going back! It was so much fun! I am honestly considering going back into the same room to see how fast I can escape this time. It does take right at the 60 minutes too! You can't go wrong with this activity. Jason was really good at making sure we had a good time and he fully explained the directions of the game....

Scott and his crew were absolutely amazing hosts. I'm visiting from Texas, so naturally me and my friends decided to keep the tradition of going to escape rooms alive. We are currently on an 8 row winning streak.

Brendan was our Game Master, and absolutely all around good guy. He explained the specifics of their rooms, told the back story well, and answered any questions we had. He didn't jump in with help unless we asked for it, which was great, because it allowed us to work through the puzzles.

We did two rooms: Dr. Madblood and The Pirate's Treasure. Both were nicely themed, with a nice variety of puzzles, suitable to every type of individual (Word puzzles, logic puzzles, hidden switches, etc..).

Overall, a really nice location, and can not be beat for the price. Definitely provides a good...
