I do not recommend this dealership. My brother has worked in auto sales for 30 years. I told him of the service I received from them after buying a lemon from them and he couldn't believe it. I also spoke to corporate a few times regarding me being hoodwinked and they tried to reach out to iron trail to find out what was going on. They were lied to. It is obvious they do not inspect all their vehicles. Because if they did they would have seen that the ac was broke on a vehicle that had less then 100 miles on it. They wouldn't offer to repair it. They instead blamed me for not noticing it on the test drive and said it was my fault. That I must have purposely drive down a dirt road at a high speed behind someone who was kicking up rocks which hit the ac condenser and cracked it. I was then told to put in a claim with my insurance company and pay the 500 deductible out of pocket and they would then fix it. I felt belittled and humiliated by them....hoodwinked! I told them I will have to get a lawyer and they threatened to call the police on me. 0 out of 5. Go to Duluth and buy a vehicle. Avoid iron trail at all costs. Btw... I couldn't afford the 500 deductible so we have been driving a 2024 grand highlander without ac since we purchased it in August of 2023. Worst dealership ever! If I could give 0 stars I would! No one from. The ownership group ever reached out to me regarding this. Swept under the rug. Hands washed! Also.... we wanted a trailer hitch and keyless remote. They ignored our request for the hitch. Charged us $500 for the keyless remote start. Then decided not to follow through the contract we signed with them and sent the $500 the creditors who financed our loan. Never informed us they did that. Whenever we called regarding the remote and hitch they told us they were still waiting for the parts. Horrible.....horrible....horrible! I am going to now put in a complaint with the BBB and Minnesota Attorney Generals office! Hopefully we will be reimbursed and compensated for being treated like garbage and not getting a fully operational brand new vehicle which we paid for. Read moreI walked in the door, I was greeted by Eric, he asked for my id, he copied it handed me the keys to the car I wanted to test drive. He told me we can chat when I get back, he told me the highway is that way make sure to step on it, (Which is in reference of pressing on the gas pedal). I returned and was asked what I was thinking of the car, I asked to browse a couple of newer cars he said sure walked and just chatted with me. No pushing me at all to purchase anything just a friendly guy letting me make my own choices without being pressured. He asked are you interested in the car you drove? Would you like me to see if we can get you a loan on it and start the paperwork? I told him yes, he took the keys and went into an office. He came out and told me that it would be about 30 minutes that the man was busy with another client. I asked if I could see the keys that I had forgot to check the trunk space. He said absolutely, he goes while you're checking that out, go take another cruise with it, it's a beautiful day why be stuck indoors waiting. When I returned I was greeted by Garret who got me the warranties that I should have and said there is a list of 9 other things you can get if you want but I personally don't think you need it and it would be a waste of money. I mean seriously what car place is going to have your best interest in heart? It was my first time purchasing a newer car off a lot and my goodness it was a great experience, terrific people who don't push a bunch of bs on you. 3 days ago my daily driver vehicle was a 20 year old 200k+ mile truck with many problems. On the coldest day out of the winter at -20f below it died its last death leaving me without transportation and the much needed resource of having a reliable truck at my job.
I knew exactly what I wanted and started calling dealerships. Eric at Iron Trail was able to get me exactly what I needed, with the price and payments I was calculating on my own online. My 2024 Tacoma is perfect. Not only did I get exactly what I wanted, but things were so fast that the same exact day my old truck failed, I had my new Tacoma lined up and locked in, and I picked it up the very next day. They worked fast and with no hassle to get me setup with what I wanted.
When I got to the dealership my truck was clean, and running and ready to go. I met with Krista who was an amazing guide through the buying experience. She helped my wife and I learn about the vehicle and all the terms of the sale. She was pleasant and informative and honesty seemed genuine. I also worked with Eric who I met online. Working with the two of them, I felt very taken care of and they felt truly excited for me and my new truck.
