I have been an Aaron's customer for many many years. Usually they do right by you and I had generally good experiences. Albeit when it comes to Dryers. We just got another dryer and it takes at least 4 times to dry towels. Called and let them know. They said they would have someone call me back. Never happened. So, called customer service. They said someone should call you back. That was two months ago and still not a single call. Yes, they try to call and push new deals but never a resolution to my dryer issues.
I'm guessing this will be my last contract with Aaron's. Such a shame they value you less until it's time to renew your contract.
Update... No one ever called. Paid off Dryer continued to have to dry 4 times to do a single load. Well last week it stopped working completely. I went to the store and explained the situation. The "Store Manager" said well you paid it off there is nothing we can do.
I explained I've called many times and no one ever called me back. " We're under new management" is the response we got. I said but you still carry the arrons name, you could have called. Then I got, "Well, we've been busy". Absolutely unacceptable!
My wife talked me into getting another new set. Washer wasn't available but the dryer was. It was supposed to be pre-leased but never left the store. She reduced the Cash price by 200 to make it 599 or something like that. So we took it home.
We get it home hook it up and it sounded broken. It was apparent it had left the store before and was not a "New pre leased'.
I go back with a video of it. The same store manager was just as rude as the first time. After a bit of back and forth she said I'd rather you take one in a box because when u take one it seems to not work, insinuating we broke the dryer.
I asked if she was serious? She said "it seems no matter what I say this conversation is going nowhere. Period!" And yet She kept talking until I had to tell her that after you tell a customer this is going nowhere "period" you usually stop talking. But she didn't.
If we didn't. Need a replacement dryer, I would not have gonen back into that store. Especially with her there. My washer I got there still works, but I'm having them order me a new one so the sets match. More money that is obviously not appreciated.
There is so much to this story hopefully someone calls. And hope I get my appliances by Next Friday or the following Tuesday.
I would never have imagined the level of rudeness we dealt with. I have been a customer for nearly 20 years. And this is how I got treated. Shocking. Shawna was amazing and was probably the main reason we returned.
