I,unfortunately am retracting my original review and here is why: I went in Kevin Jeweler's a few times from Saturday to today looking at rings. Two I had my eyes on in particular. I went in earlier this week and had great customer service from one employee who deserves a better job. He was not only friendly,he had a very professional appearance and attitude and knows how to treat customers. I went in today to purchase a ring. First testing to see how they would treat me not knowing what I could really get. Saying my credit was lower than it was and dressed in less high end clothing than I have worn in there previously to see what they would do and offer before I had them run my credit. Why? well I do this buying cars,looking at houses to buy etc...If I am treated any less because they think I have low credit I go until I get the service I deserve. The manager after seeing the ring I really liked asked me what my credit score was to go on about financing. I said a low,low number as their website guarantees all are approved! ( yes I've done my homework on many local and big chain jewelers) Without running my credit he goes on to saying with my low credit I would only be approved for a 700 credit,right then I knew he was full of it. He then asked what I was willing to put down I said $400 just to see what he'd say next. He agrees to it,then calculated costs and then asked what about a little more how about $580 I say no,he then says "well unfortunately we cannot do it unless you do layaway and we will need $1,200 down." What!?!?!? I almost laughed at that point. I finally had enough of the "run around" with them. Went to another more upscale jeweler and did the same with them and they were pleasantly surprised when they saw I was immediately approved for a high amount with ZERO DOWN 12 months zero interest for a much,much bigger ring and I get everything free Kevin Jeweler's wanted to charge me $180 for. March 17th bought rings from Kevin Jewlers, had sent out to size our fingers. 3/22 picked up our rings, had decided to special order a second band for me, said allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. 4/12 Rings were wrong. Special ordered ring didnt match up to my 16 diamond slim band it had bigger yet less diamonds so they sent my original and second band on rush order to fix for their mistake. 4/11, 4/19 4/30 5/3 called 5 times yes 5 times, they said my rings were lost!!! they said they would call me back and didnt so I would call them...... the manager asked if I would be happy with the bigger yet less diamond band, I told him yes as long as they both match... he said he was putting a rush order on them AGAIN... 5/7 I called and talked to Brian he didnt know anything about what was going on he said he would call me back the NEXT day he called and said they SHOULD be here next week.... 5/9 Brian called me and said they should be here on Monday, 5/15 a woman called me and said they will be in on Friday the 18th..... I called Friday to see if they were in and I was told only ONE ring showed up and that the other ring would be here on Tuesday the 22nd!!! I called on Monday the 21st to see if Irlan, can make sure FOR SURE they would be in. On Tuesday I called to see when the fed ex shipment would be in Irlan told me by 3:30 that afternoon. Called again at 5pm and the rings still were not there, I told her I would be there by 7ish and that I figured they WOULD BE there BY THEN, boy was I wrong!!! The rings didnt show up until the manager who was on lunch WITH ONE OF MY RINGS IN HIS POCKET had to go get the other one from said Fed Ex location.... Very Bad service, I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE AGAIN, their lucky I'm even going to pay my rings off and not let them take me to...

This place is my favorite Jeweler of the Visalia Mall. They always have brilliant diamonds and rings. I came in and was helped by Vicky who helped me take a closer look at some engagement rings. I reassured her that I might still need a bit of time to find the perfect one. She said that was okay and showed me all of the ones that peaked my interest. I explained to her that I also didn't have a perfect credit score and she told me not to worry as they have in-house credit and anyone can apply for. I was next introduced to her manager Eli, who I assumed would push me to buy a ring; but he was friendly and allowed me to view any ring that was within my budget. There was zero pressure and I could have walked away at anytime, but I luckily found the perfect ring for the woman of my dreams. Eli made me an offer I could not turn down and the great thing was they only asked for half upfront and allowed the other half to be financed which includes a 5 year warrenty and allow you to upgrade or select a different one if your significant other does not like it so you don't lose value on your investment. It costs more for sizing and insurance, but they are both worth adding on. All in all I had a great experience and Kevin's Jewelers helped me find the best ring at the best price. 5...
