UPDATE Gere we are going in a month or better and i have not recieved any form of a follow-up.
I purchased a phone less than 2 months ago.Within 2 to 3 weeks of me owning this phone I was having A LOT of issues. I opened pre-installed app and it was so outdated it was from 2023 & wouldn't even load. I was within the 30-day warranty period & purchased insurance on the phone. So now I am back at the location trying to find a solution. I was using the phone wrong is what I was told. When the Bluetooth quit working as well, when I mentioned this to him, he said absolutely nothing and as in disbelief, he connected his radio to my Bluetooth while he let his music play as we (well, me) tried to find a resolution. He says "looks like it's working fine to me". I disregarded the insinuation that I was incompetent by what he said and went in to discuss the next issue on the device. Each time presented a problem, he had an excuse for it, that I was doing something wrong. I took three separate trips back to Verizon, as the problems on the phone we're getting progressively worse & finally just asked to exchange it for a device that worked properly or troubleshoot. "We do not offer technical support" is the response I was given, the THIRD time I visited the store. They refused to help me. That man was so rude to me. He made me feel bullied by the time I left there. They treated me as though I was trying to do something dishonest from the minute I said I had a problem with a brand new device. I have multiple screenshots and screen recordings to prove this phone does not work. Gemini, Bixby, voice to text, all of that DOES NOT WORK. They refused to look at the videos. I held my phone out to the the gentleman at the kiosk to show him first handed what the phone was doing. He would not look at my screen. Without even glancing at my phone (he's staring at my face while I'm asking him to look at the phone) ,He repeated 3 times " It looks like it's something on their end." And hadn't even glanced. I was within the warranty, had insurance-no help. I left in tears three different times! I stayed there for HOURS. The emotional stress that I have went through is uncomparable to any experience I've ever had with a business. I don't cause a fuss over much but this deserves recognition. I am now stuck with a phone that does not work properly. I don't want anyone else to have to go through what I went through. All I needed was someone to sit down with me and try to get this device to work properly and they would not. He was the rudest salesman I've ever met in my life. I will never set foot in there again. Ever. I would advise anyone and everyone to visit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this store after my 18th birthday to go and get on my own phone plan. Since it was a few days after my birthday my ID was expired so they told me I couldnāt get a new phone BUT they could put me on a prepaid plan and once i got my ID situated I could come back in and they would switch me to a post paid plan and give me a new phone. Right after the DMV I went straight to Verizon to get this over with but this visit didnāt last long because I didnāt know that a paper ID isnāt a valid ID (lol). About a week goes by my hard copy of my ID comes and I make an appointment with the same guy as the second visit and this is where the real problems started. Since now I already had a Verizon account all they had to do was take a picture of my ID and I would have to fill in some information, right, WRONG!! I ended up spending nearly 4 hours trying to get this phone. The problem was every time I would put in my SS number and upload my ID they would mark me as FRAUDULENT! Guys iām 18ā¦how am i fraudulent?! Anyways the people helping me werenāt the problem it was the fraud team on the phone, constantly rude to me and telling me there was nothing they could do about it and that I would have to bring basically my whole life worth of documents to prove I am who I say I am, this that and the third so I go home and get any and everything I could find and come back. We upload the documents and youāll never guess⦠STILL FRAUDULENT! One of the documents you have to upload is a utility bill with your name on it⦠i am freshly 18 why and how would I have a utility bill with my name on it?!?! At that point me and the guy helping me were both frustrated and knew this wouldnāt work so he told me he wish he could do something about it told me to have a nice day, I told him Iām probably going to go to AT&T and he said he didnāt blame me! The next day I went to AT&T and walked out with a phone in less than 30 minutes. The only downside was that I have to wait 3 months before I can get my old number back so Iām stuck paying $70/month for Verizon on a phone thatās sitting here dead. Moral of the story if youāre young and trying to get on your own phone plan please please go anywhere...
Read moreI have never in my whole life went to a cell phone store and was so dissatisfied by the service and I don't even use Verizon. My fiancé needed to get a new phone because his was very old. We walked into the store and I was almost blasted back out the door because the music was so loud it sounded like we were in the club! A rep walked up to us in a white tee shirt and some black pants which I thought was odd seeing as your at work not at the house....but anyway he walked up to us and asked if we needed help. Neither one of us heard what he said. My fiancé told him he was looking for an upgrade and he said "ok look around" and walked away. We started to look around the store and there were no phone placards for ANY of the phones in the whole store! Like for no phones! It was strange because it was in the middle of the day and there was no informational placards. We headed over to the iPhone station and started to look at the phones there. Mind you that besides the sizes of some phones a lot of them looked the same. I look over and there are about 5 reps standing in a corner chit chatting and laughing while the manager is helping someone at the front counter. I looked over and made eye contact with the rep with my arms folded and he looked me dead in the face and kept on with his conversation. I finally after standing there with my fiancé for several minutes had to literally yell across the store if we could get some help. The rep looked so annoyed by it and walked up and said "oh you ready now?" We had to stand there and ask him about the features and prices of each phone which was annoying. And after all of it my fiancé said he didn't want to get anything that day. We walked out and he said that he wanted to go to my carrier to check out phones. It was like night and day. Well just by the way we were treated at this location my fiancé ended up switching carriers. Maybe if they spent more time catering to their customers instead of catching up on gossip it would have been a better experience. Would give it zero...
