BEWARE - SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE, like Alpaca instead.
I go out of my way to share positive reviews and recognize great businesses and experiences. I don’t enjoy posting negative reviews but I will in order to genuinely help others & save them from dealing with things like this.
The company is now using a grossly-applied algorithm that flags your account for multiple complaints of wrong orders. I cannot imagine the percentage of their customer-base being professional scammers to institute such a brand destroying practice.
If you use the app to report the issue, they check if you’ve reported issues before, and if you have, even if this was 2+ years ago, the live customer service agent WILL NOT REFUND OR REPLACE A WRONG ORDER. I had let them know I received the completely wrong burrito - it was clearly someone else’s order, ironically full of all the things that gross me out and was truly inedible for me. It wasn’t some minor thing like it was missing the corn salsa I requested.
They send you the most ridiculous template response along the lines of “sorry no one is perfect so we aren’t going to refund you for the $14 you just spent on food you cannot eat but we’ll let management know of the multiple issues at this location.” They then close out the chat so you can’t even respond. (Please see attached pictures).
I have 2 very small children, I had not eaten all day and there’s no way to expect a person to spend 45 minutes round trip to got back and get a new burrito. Never-mind the fact that I wasn’t going to even be able to eat now, I just wanted a refund or credit for what I spent my money on and didn’t get. To have this as a business practice was just shocking.
I’m done supporting massive greedy profit-over-people corporations like this. I hope...
Read moreUpon walking up to the line, I asked the associate how her day was, and she just stared at me. I told her what I would like, and she haphazardly threw the ingredients in the bowl, half spilling out. I said I wanted steak and she had to leave to go to the mobile order area to get a measly scoop of steak. She asked me "is that it", and I stated I wanted the pico de gallo, but she slid the bowl down and walked away, never saying anything else to me. The entire line looked gross, food all over and most containers were at the very bottom. My husband wanted fajita vegetables but stated that there wasn't even one scoop left in the bin, and what was left was littered with over containers spilled over food. She just looked at him and said "do you want it or not". She was so incredibly unfriendly and rude that my husband abandoned his entire order. I don't remember the last time I was treated with such disdain from anyone in customer service or the food industry, particularly since I tried so hard to be friendly. The kind petite blonde gave a sympathetic look and signified that the opinion we shared of the initial worker was a common theme. I asked the cashier what the first workers name was and she said "I think it's Angelina?". Odd how you can not know a coworkers name. She was younger, with a brunette ponytail and black framed glasses and a baseball hat. There was not a speck of friendliness in her, and the quality of the food was questionable. There was even food on the glass! The nasty food seemed confined to the meat area and the toppings looked much more fresh and tidy, which may or may not have been a coincidence. I've never left a bad review about an employee, and I've never abandoned a food order halfway through. I have no ambitions...
Read moreThis experience pretty much made my husband and I decide we never want to eat here, again! All the workers look completely miserable and they act robotic. I felt I was at a military mess hall but worse. There wasn’t any customers behind us but they rushed us through like cattle! Unfortunately their speediness caused two employees to not listen well because the one guy threw pico on my bowl after I said I didn’t want any followed by the girl with the sour cream who slopped sour cream on the middle of the dish before I could finish telling her to put it on the side. She was at least nice but she had hair hanging down, dangling over the food which should never happen. It’s not hard to pin back hair but I think she was trying to look cute and isn’t thinking about sanitation but her boss should be! My burrito bowl was not visually appealing and I had ended up having to scoop up the pico I didn’t ask for as well as the “ grilled” onions and peppers which had many large, uncooked pieces. I also think it’s rather deceptive to have condiments that are an up charge next to the freebies and then you don’t recognize it was an up charge until after you pay. And the chips now cost, too? Are you kidding me? For the lack of quality of food, chips should be free! We spent over 30.00 for sloppy food, no chips and two drinks. We definitely won’t be going back to this Chipotle or any other in the future. For the same price, we could have dined at an actual Mexican restaurant where the food was good, workers listen and you don’t feel like you’re part of a...
