I stopped in today, January 24, 2024, at about 5:45pm because the HOT light was on, but because there was no one inside or in the drive thru I decided to go in so I could check out the featured donuts for the month. When I got inside the young man asked me if I was picking up an online order and I told him I was not. He then told me that, because they were short staffed, I would not be able to buy anything inside, but would have to go through the drive-thru. I asked him about the featured donuts and if he liked them, to which he told me he had no idea bc he had not tried them. I told him I only wanted to buy 2 donuts and asked him if I would still need to go back outside to my car and drive through to order them. He said that I would. There was still no one inside the store, nor had anyone driven through the drive-thru the entire time I was there. I thanked him and walked out to my car to drive around the building again to order at the drive-thru. This did not make any sense to me since there were no other customers the entire time. I finally got my order at approximately 5:50pm and did not get a receipt from the young man, but did get him to scan my rewards number so I got credit for the purchase. As a loyal customer of Krispy Kreme, and this location in particular, I was highly insulted by the treatment I received. Not sure I will be back to this location...
Read moreHave always considered KK a happy place ! My husband went this evening about 7:00! The line for drive thru was swamped with at least 20 guests cars so my husband went inside! There were four people inside. The manager came and said the register was down for them to leave and get in the drive thru line! The manager should have serviced the four guests that bothered to come in and closed the lobby with a sign! Yelling for those guests to leave was not a pleasant solution ! My husband recovering from surgery and on a cane remained to make his purchase! When he asked the manager to please complete the transaction the manager didn’t even respond to his request rudely turned and walked away! very sad customer service! Good chance this manager doesn’t work well under pressure and perhaps needs more training on customer service! Fortunately a young lady stepped up and completed the order! She may be a great candidate for manager! Be aware my husband had driven quite a distance from North Raleigh to make purchase at this store. NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS WAS NOT SUCH A HAPPY PLACE AND TO BE TREATED SO RUDELY BY SOMEONE ON CHARGE MADE IT WORSE😢🤷♀️ Guess we will think long and hard before we try that again as Daylight donuts and Duck donuts are in our neighborhood! Read more0 stars. Let's change the hours since we can't seem to have any donuts anyone wants after 8 and the lobby is never opened. I saw 3 cars leave the drive thru bc they had nothing. Who wants a blueberry donut? No one! Then they tell you they won't have any until the morning, close then. Rude and lazy crew whoever was there last night working. Anywhere else in the world Krispy Kreme is awesome bring it to North Carolina and they will run it in the ground no matter what the business is. Duck donuts would never. . edit- Back over a year later at 3pm almost no donuts and they explain they have very little so I politely ask about the hot light bc it looks like they are closing up shop. Before i went in i had said let's ask when it will be on bc i will wait that's literally all we want. . Instead of telling me when it will be on the manager points to the hot light as if maybe i don't understand the whole process and is like you see the hot light isn't on.?
