Update to my original 4 star post from 3 years ago: Unfortunately this Target has gone downhill by way of items being out of stock or expired on a constant basis. I've just about given up on the grocery section due to this. Target run and done my a@#. Today it was celery and Hawaiian rolls that expire today. In regards to this one of the best things about this Target is the neighboring Safeway. On previous recent visits it was milk that they were out of, expired parmesan cheese, expired yogurt, barely any bread in the entire bread section, etc, etc. So frustrating. On my visit today I did have a very helpful employee do her best to find some celery so I wouldn't have to make another stop, but there was none to be found even in the storage freezer.
Previous review: Love this Target! So much better than Waldorf's, which is where I used to go. I pass it on my way home from work so it's super convenient and it's closer to my home so I too frequent it a few times a week. The staff is always wonderful and friendly. They do seem to have odd hours sometimes on their cafe and I have been upset to find that Starbucks closed early before, but that was awhile back. It seems they got that under control or maybe I've just been lucky. ;) My only issue lately is their miniscule maternity section, that for some reason only consists of a few racks of maternity and tons of regular women's clearance thrown in the middle. Read moreTarget corporation has extremely terrible customer service. A unmannerable man who is a sr. guest relation specialist spoke to me very rude. He did not resolve my issue, he called me a liar, and would not let me speak to his manager after I requested. Jasper should not work in the customer service feild. Target is not fair when a mistake is made on their end. The do not check phone calls when you make a complaint about how their representatives speak to you. Multiple representatives today insulated my issue was minuscule and that I was over reacting. I am truly offended as I was misguided and misinformed by their representative. Instead of correcting the issue I was told they will use this for training purposes which leaves me high and dry. As a tip I want to inform fellow shoppers that they will tell you one thing by the phone Andre type something completely different. When you call they will only reference what the rep types in the system. If this happens to you just know they will not correct their mistake. I never thought I would say this but I suggest Amazon and WALMART shopping. Do not spend your money where you are not appreciated or respected....
Read moreThis store makes Walmart look suave. When I went, there were carts and pallets of boxes EVERYWHERE. Two thirds of the price checkers were either missing or broken (as in smashed screens that say "out of order"). Nothing was in the right place. The floor manager should be fired for accepting that state.
On top of all of the mess, the employees don't seem to care about what they are doing. I drove an hour there to pick up a small bench I ordered online. When I arrived, it was sitting on a cart with one of the corners very obviously smashed in about three inches. C'est la vie, right? Nope. After walking through the mess of the store to see if they had something comparable, I found nearly all of their demo furniture broken and some of their other benches very obviously broken as well. Ie, FOR SALE ON THE SHELF are pieces of furniture with cracks, missing hinges, and the lot. Real classy.
