Okay, this was tuff however, I have to be honest. Let's start from the begining, due to COVID-19 I made reservation to make sure they weren't over book and have a decent space to sit and eat. When I arrived 10 mins early, I was greeted with we are short on staff and you will have to wait 30 mins in the waiting area or have seat at the bar until things are ready for you. At this point I was a little frustrated at the news.
Once seating was available, I was at half a booth, yes half a booth. They had two wooden seats in place of the other cushion seat, when my guest arrived and sat on the regular cushion seat. They appeared to be a foot taller, because I was sitting in the smaller wooden chair. Not ideal for seating position on a date night and your trying to impress someone.
The food is a whole different category, out 3 items I ordered only one was decent
Mussels: looked good and smelled good however I felt they were a little under cooked. Had a soft slimy feel to them, not firm like I usually get them.
Cesar salad: First the lettuce was turning brown and the leaves were cut as though they open a grocery store salad in a bag and dumped it on the plate. Then proceeded to use the parmesan cheese that is store bought from the next isle over and shaked it over my salad I couldn't believe they used the parmesan cheese you shake from the store that is used for your spaghetti or pizza you make at home.
Bangin Shrimp: Okay the title states how it taste, it was good, fully cooked and seasoned. If I were to go to a different establishment I would order that in a heart beat.
Positive Note: The server / bartender "MORGAN" was the best. She was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. She made the eating environment very delightful and took her job very serious. If I owned a five star establishment I would offer her a supervisory position, in just the 40 mins I spent there she serviced the bar and waited on the tables with out skipping a beat.
Closing: I don't recommend for full dining and sitting however, if you want a good cold drink and something lite like the Bangin Shrimp and Morgan is working I...

After we placed our dinner order with the server there was a random server who tried to take our drink order which told me apparently they we're not organized because she didn't know the table was already taken by someone else. Then after the order was taken it might have been 10 to 15 minutes, while waiting for the dinner The whole time the female servers including the female manager was bragging and talking loudly to where the whole restaurant heard them about their lives what they disagreed about men and a whole bunch of other stuff. Plus we witnessed the hostess and servers and manager look at their phone and message right in front of us the whole time. We got so aggravated from the experience that we decided to leave and when we said that we didn't want the food anymore which did not arrive to the table the manager who was part of the immature disruption tried to get us to pay for food that was apparently cooked? We thought that was ridiculous because we never received the food and we just wanted to leave because the bad experience and she decided that we were going to still pay for a certain amount of the food that was supposedly cooked but she never came to us to talk to us about it. After we complained asking for the manager to come to us to explain face-to-face she decided to put her hands up be dismissive of why we were leaving obviously because she was part of the problem and finally comped our meal. We left the restaurant very unsatisfied with the experience. I don't know what made them think that their attitude and lack of professionalism in the restaurant was a good thing. I don't know why the manager who was part of that problem thought that we should pay for food we didn't eat only because it was prepared which we can't even prove cuz we don't work in the kitchen. Read moretried to put in survey but was too longI was in here a few weeks ago, I was greeted by a young gentleman with dreads that was pleasant and very professional. Our server was very nice and timely. Everything was great until our food took over 25 minutes. We got fish tacos and fish and chips, I assume it should not have taken so long. I am in the food industry myself, and based on the amount of guests it should not have taken the kitchen this long to make something so simple. Once we got our food we noticed how sloppily it was plated. Not appetizing. We asked to see the manager and they sent over the kitchen manager, in which our server told us was named Lauren. When she came to the table she herself appeared sloppy, and smelled of day old alcohol. When i explain the unpleasantness of the plating and for how long we had to wait, she didnt seem to have any sense of urgency or care to fix this problem. Overall the interaction was very disappointing. Not what I have come to expect from management, especially from someone who works in the kitchen. Unfortunately we will not be returning since it appears that the new management is dragging down the rest of the team(not the first encounter with new management, last time was with a “girl” named annavet).
