
It was 6pm, I hadn't eated ANYTHING all day & was FAMISHED! I'm glad I wasn't on camera. Initially, we were told there'd be a 15min wait bcuz we didn't have reservations. After a 20-30min wait, we were seated in dining area, only 2 wait another 15mins to have 5 people seated with us (now, I'm HANGRY!!) After another 10-15mins the chef came to the table. He confirmed our orders & proceeded to prepare rice for the other 5 guests (FYI: I ordered steamed rice w/my shrimp, chicken& vegetables extra w/mushrooms. The person w/me ordered noodles w/steak & vegetables.)
When the rice was cooked the chef 1st gave the other guests their rice. As he tried2 give my friend&I fried rice we explained, '...no, noodles & steamed rice.' Now, he's acting as though he doesn't understand English. Again, we explained the order was wrong. My friend just accepted the fried rice (which is now, sitting on her plate getting cold.)
Now, chef is cooking veggies&the lobster for 2 of the other guests. He cooks some noodles&places them on my plate. Realizing my food was going2 B STONE cold, I flag a waitress & asked 4 a plate 2cover my food. Now, the chef is cooking shrimp for 6 & chicken. But, no steak.
He burned the $4.50 extra mushrooms, and after completing food for the other 5 guests (who'd come in after my friend& I,) &began cooking my friend's steak, placed it on her plate w/her cold fried rice & veggies. The mgr. must have seen my face & came to tell us she'd deducted 10% bcuz of the delay. (FYI: menu indicated "15% gratuity would automatically be applied.")

All of my food was prepared on the grill, i am with a friend who has a seafood allergy and his food needs to be prepared elsewhere. Understood.
So i get my good at 4:20 and my food allergy friend, no food for 25 more minutes. The drink i ordered, never came. We ask for a Manager, he sends the Assistant, who tries to defend that due to the allergies, that food takes longer (but not 25 mins longer, in fact it should have come out sooner because it was the only meal cooked by itself)
Now let’s get to the GM Jimmy, who i had to summon to our table, since he was unwilling to come over and address our concern. I ask him why he hasn’t addressed us.. since he knew we had a concern his response was “the issue was already solved” . So unfortunately I had to inform him that he should have apologized, he should have said I want you to come back so here is what I will do for you.
As my friend describes his issues, he starts to sigh as if we were bothering him. At that point, i asked for a complimentary meal because I was done.

Read moreThe atmosphere is nice and clean and the staff was friendly, front the hostess, to the waiter, to the cook. The portion sizes were good. They start off with onion soup and salad until the cook comes and takes your order. We did have to wait a while because the cook was running ‘late’. Unfortunately the food had no taste. It was a good portion but it all tasted the same. I had to ask for teriyaki sauce to give it some type of flavor and that barely helped. The cook had garlic butter and when I say he only used a tablespoon, he only used one tablespoon for the all of the food, rice, steak, chicken, veggies, lo mein. He cooked everything with oil, a little salt, a lot of pepper, a lil soy and teriyaki sauce. I was hoping to make this my new spot as opposed to driving to Alexandria, VA (where I frequent a hibachi restaurant there), but it looks like I’ll continue making that trip. Imagine having all that food all for it to taste like nothing. We tried dousing it in yum yum and ginger sauce too and to no avail. I’m not exaggerating either.
Lastly, their to go boxes were cardboard boxes which I wasn’t thrilled about. But again the customer service was good and maybe we just had a new cook 🤷🏽♀️ But I’m not spending another $80 and finding out. Also we got steak and shrimp. The group with us got...
