I ordered from Uber eats and the wrong order was delivered. I flagged down the driver who told me I needed to contact the restaurant. After calling and being told i needed to come down, the manager told me she could not find the order and had me drive out (I kid you not). I handed her the uber eats order (in full color no less) which itemized the full order and included their address, but she refused to fill it saying she could not find the order on their system.
All I was trying to do was to get the food I paid for but kept being told to wait while they tried to find the order. Nearly 2 hours had gone by at this point. I was informed that she called her manager and was not given authorization to fill my order. When I demanded to have her name and her manager's name, she called security.
I later called the Panda Express customer service hotline and after being kept on hold and relaying the story, the CSR on the other end said they could not find the order from uber eats either. I asked why their technical issue was being made my problem I was told they can't fill an order if they don't have it in their system -- EVEN AFTER I BROUGHT THEM THE ORDER ON PAPER WITH THEIR ADDRESS ON IT.
All they had to do was prepare three orders and deal with the technical issue later, but alas, that would have been good customer service. When I indicated that this policy was poor service I was told by the CSR that I was wrong. (Yes he said that!). Hey I run a business too and I don't like unfair reviews on social media so I avoid doing so and have never done this, but the level of a poor customer service experience was EPIC of biblical proportion. I told her I wanted white rice which I received but I only received one piece of teriyaki chicken cut and a scoop of the spicy sweet chicken and it was mostly the fruit. And the pocket wasnāt full. I wasnāt offered any vegetables either.. just a lot of white rice. I ordered a soda and on my way out a guy orders the same meal as me and his meat is overflowing from the pockets of his entree.
