Hibachi Express Japanese Grill — Restaurant in Maryland

I just cannot with their food. this food is cooked infront of you. But it is rushed and has no real flavors. whenever I have to put their food in my car for orders. It smells so bad I have to ride with my windows down. don't know how anybody eats this. The shrimp and meats are horrible. It's like they give you scraps of meat. It's not sliced or diced. It's has no shape. The chicken don't taste like chicken. I can't even tell y'all what I think the chicken is. Smh nobody else gives you chicken pieces the way that they do. Let's not get started on the sauce. No flavor and everything takes watered down with grease. The noddles smh the texture is horrible. I won't not eat their food even if it were the last place on Earth. I can't believe they have the audacity to sell the food they do humans. I can't tell what meat is what and those pathetic shrimp they give you. They don't even give those at the Chinese carry outs and everyone knows they cheap. This by far is the place that has the worse food on the planet and here I thought it was McDonald's smh. If your gonna charge 13 14 dollars a plate. The food should be decent. We ordered three platters to go. When we got home we discovered that they forgot to include the protein in one of the platters. We called and asked if they could refund just that one since we didn’t actually receive it. They said they don’t have access to the payment system so they are unable to do that, but they sent us a message that said “two free combos next time you come.” We arrived and tried to order our two free combos. Despite the wording of the message, the manager said no we can only have a remake of the one platter that they got wrong weeks ago. After two bad experiences it’s safe to say we will not be back.

Edited to add: the beef plate which was messed up was $10.45. Today my husband tried to order the chicken and shrimp combo for $11.45 and I ordered salmon and shrimp for $12.95 since we were told we had “two free combos.” The manager did not tell us we could have two meals valued at 10.45 he told us we could have one beef plate or nothing and was very rude the...

Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. After so many positive reviews about the food though, I was really expecting something so different than what I got. Tonight was my dinner night so I picked up food for my husband, my daughter and myself. I ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki hibachi fried rice. What I got was big chunks of cabbage, some big pieces of a carrot some plain rice that was not fried with the veggies and then a cut of beef that resembled Steak-uums and dark chicken meat with very runny YumYum sauce. I tried to eat it, but I just couldn't. If you are a fan of Benihana, Osaka, or Kobe Japanese Steakhouse (like I am) this ain't that! This isn't even the carryout hibachi in the hood. Again, the staff was super nice and for that I am thankful. But these reviews hyping this food up completely lost me, because what have y'all been eating for this to be so good to y'all? This is definitely not what I was expecting after all...
