It seems like all of the real reviews that used to be here were recently deleted. As with any apartment complex there are pros and cons:
PROS: Office and maintenance is great, they’re always super responsive and accommodating. clean, modern and nice building whistle stop, limoncello and Ike’s big mouth are walking distance and the BEST places to get food! train is convenient, although I never used it walking/biking distance to the park and public pool package concierge is a life saver beautiful location garage parking is super nice and convenient, especially during winter
CONS: train is extremely loud if you live in that side of the building, and there’s not a pretty view on that side since it’s just a parking lot management can feel stifling if you are used to living in smaller apartment complexes with a landlord that is more lenient and flexible keys are digital so you have to purchase them/make copies through the office which costs $55 each free parking is hard to find without having to rush to your car to move it at certain times amount of space for cost isn’t great
I ended up moving out after 7 months and renting a home for just a little more per month. At the time a lot of other residents were leaving due to covid and not being able to enjoy the building. Hopefully that’s changed and new residents can now enjoy the whole space. I really miss the good restaurants, shopping at Stew Leonard’s nearby and biking to the park in...
Read moreBeautiful building and has MANY great added features and cost savings. 1, You save on electric lights. Just open the shade of the rear window, and your shoebox is instantly filled with the warm glow of the low pressure sodium lights that stream into your living space from the gorgeous parking lot outside your windows. To me it reminds me of the soft glow of a fireplace, IF YOU HAD ONE. 2, The view is FANTASTIC, you get to see all the commuters and their cars outside this complex. 3, You save on alarm clocks. The CLANGING and Train whistles allow you to wake up to the drone of trains that are 10 feet from your window. 4, The smell of diesel fumes from the train locomotives. I don't know about you, but to me it smells like.......VICTORY. 5, The left hand turns that they don't want you to take into a LEGAL two way street, making you go the EXTRA distance. 6, NO GROCERY STORES within walking distance. Well to be fair they USED to have a Stop and Shop, but they closed the store 6 months ago for lack of business. Oh and too bad the artist's conception looks nothing like reality. And "gated...
Read moreWaldwick Station is not worth the premium price tag compared to other options in the area. Rent is high, and they keep raising both the rent and amenity fees, despite the fact that the amenities are poorly maintained. The gym’s AC has been broken for months, making it unusable in the summer. The hallways are dated, with noticeable stains (including dog poop) that never seem to get cleaned.
The “rooftop lounge” is a joke—the outdoor TV is almost always broken, and the garage doors are frequently out of order. For a building charging luxury prices, the upkeep is far from luxury. There are also far more vacant units than they advertise online, which should tell you something. If you decide to live here, make sure to push for lease specials, because paying full price for this place is simply...
