Edit: replying to the reply I got from the business, I understand that, however I was not informed of how the hamster balls and boats were run when I purchased the tickets nor was another woman who complained of this at the same time with me. I can assure you that if I had known, I wouldnât have complained nor waited in line for that long as I am in my last trimester of pregnancy. Clearly you donât care about the customerâs experience⌠I truly feel like I was being treated unfairly and this response is uncaring and disappointing.
It really pains me to write this because there are quite a few things that make this little pumpkin patch charming, such as it being dog friendly, all the great photo ops, and it being great for little ones under 5.
However, their hamster ball and bumper boat attraction is poorly run. I got in line and waited about 30-45 minutes and watched several children do the hamster ball. While waiting I asked the operator if we had a choice between the ball and the boat and they said yes and told me how many tickets each attraction cost. When I finally reached the front, the operator told me that they would finish up all the kiddos that wanted to do the hamster ball which was pretty much everyone else in line (about 5-6 others behind me) and then they would allow my child to ride the bumper boat. I found this incredibly unfair as we waited so long and to wait for people that lined up after me to go ahead was insult to injury.
Their reasoning was that they couldnât have both at the same time and that the bumper boats were heavy to lift in and out. They also lost one hamster ball due to one getting water inside of it. I had no way of knowing that they were only doing the hamster ball as the operator did not tell me when I asked about having a choice between the two attractions. The people waiting in line ahead of me also told me they were switching often between the hamster ball and the boats prior to me getting in line. Had I known we would have done other attractions⌠my child was incredibly disappointed but it was getting late so we decided to ask for a refund for our tickets but they do not provide refunds so we used the rest of our tickets to get a pumpkin.

Despite the website stating they closed at 9 pm we arrived there at 4 pm and the door was shut closed. Assuming it was accidentally locked because other people were in there I started to bang on the fence so someone can open it up and all of the staff looked at us with disgust.
