I was very excited to attend the JellyCat embroidery event today, but unfortunately, an interaction with a staff member named Dee significantly impacted my experience. I found her demeanor to be quite rude, and bizarre, particularly when I was filling out the embroidery form, telling me to step aside because I was taking too long to write names down of the 6 recipients I bought bunnies for. I was also surprised and uncomfortable when she interrupted my brief conversation with the embroiderer while he was stitching our bunnies names, telling me he shouldn't be distracted and to “stop speaking to him”, despite there being no other customers waiting. The embroider was shocked and confused and this was upsetting for both myself, my daughter and the embroiderer. While I generally enjoy the Paper Store and all its locations, this incident has left me quite disappointed. Even another team member walked over and apologized for her behavior.
