Not family friendly. Don’t come here if you have kids. And if you do brace yourself if the manager Laurie is working that day. My family & I, a large party of 20, went there today to have lunch for Easter and just her greeting alone when I walked in with my kids rubbed me the wrong way. Very cold and she almost seemed annoyed. But I brushed it off, whatever. Now granted we did have 9 kids with us and I personally was trying my best to keep them under control but they were laughing and just being kids. Not being super unruly or anything in my opinion. She came over and told us the kids were being too disruptive and they were getting lots of complaints about it. She also threw in that “this isn’t a banquet hall”. Mind you we were pretty secluded aside from 2 other tables of older people near us. If that were true, she certainly could have approached this situation differently and handled it in a much better manner. She was incredibly rude about it and honestly as a mom of 3 young kids it was very triggering. People like her are the reason moms feel hesitant and insecure about bringing their children out to places like this. Shame on her and Grassfields you should be embarrassed to have someone like this working in a management position, or any position for that matter, at your restaurant. Lost our entire family as customers for sure. Which is a shame because we’ve been here many times before and we never had an issue like this. I will add though that we all felt really bad for our waitress because she was very sweet. What a shame. Do better...

Grassfields is easily my favorite go to restaurant in Massachusetts. Always consistent with their quality, no matter if its beef or seafood. And always a fair price.

Always packed, granted with older crowds and families, but you never really have to wait for a table unless you go at a really popular time and even then, it’s never not worth the wait.

I love that the most expensive item is less than 30 dollars so you can get a full 3 course meal plus delicious bread without breaking the bank.

I’ve never had a single item I didn’t like, everything is delicious. If you come here you must get the rice pilaf!

During they’ve been extra safe and I’ve always felt safe getting food from them. I’m newer to Mass and when interviewing for a job here I ate here for dinner the night before, after I got the job I came here multiple times while apartment searching because they also have awesome cheap delicious lunch, and I take everyone who comes to visit here their first night. It’s been a special place to me, I even ordered my dinner here after my husband and I...

First time going and it was quite delicious! Went around 7:40 and they said about 10-15 minute wait but it only took about 5 minutes. Beer selection was OK, pretty standard stuff for drafts; good wine selection and cocktails. Casual family atmosphere with goods prices and with a very friendly waiting staff. I got the bacon wrapped filet with a potato and side salad (get the Parmesan peppercorn dressing it's delicious). The steak was cooked perfectly on the inside but a little over charred on the outside for my preference. Bread beforehand was delicious too! The two people I ate with got the scallops and steak tips combo and the baked stuffed shrimp and were both very happy with their meals. The scallops and steak tips were actually recommended by someone leaving while we were looking at the menu inside the door. Definitely would recommend and...

We've come here off and on for many years and it is consistently good! Plenty of parking, friendly receptionists, delicious meals and good service. The prices are very reasonable. What else could you want? It has a very family, home town feel where everyone is welcome. As you walk in there is a large bar on the left, restaurant ahead and to the right. They can accommodate small or large groups. I've brought clients here for lunches or dinners as well. Our martini's were icy cold and perfectly made. He had the Filet with Lobster tail and mashed potato which he said was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. My salad was crisp and fresh. The broiled scallops were sweet as was the seasonal vegetables. We even splurged and got a fabulous brownie sundae. We will definitely be back!

Lobster Pie & Petite Sirloin with a Baked potato: Very Good! Potato was cooked through and served hot with bacon, cheese, sour cream, and butter. I would've preferred additional butter ND sour cream as it only flavored the top but it was still very good. The lobster pie was savory even without the lemon which just made it that much better and the Sirloin was cooked to perfection. A little char on the outside but still moist on the inside. The service was equally impressive, knowledgeable about the menu, attentive service, very pleasant to speak with, and made me feel welcome. All around great experience and I would recommend Grassfields to anyone in the area.

My father and I went for lunch today. The service was great. Our server was Trinity and she was super nice and friendly. The decor has an old fashioned simple vibe to it which I prefer. Also tons of seating and a spacious parking lot. For lunch I ordered Thunderbird Sandwich which came with french fries. The chicken was cooked to perfection and there was nice balance between the bacon, chipotle mayo, and the chili peppers. Definitely would order it again. My father got the fish and chips with a baked potato instead of fries. He said everything was fantastic. Great portions and reasonable prices so I would most certainly come here again.
