SMART Phone Fix — Local services in Wareham

Whoever is leaving these reviews must be friends of this non reputable place. First the story! I took two iPads here to have the screens replaced nothing wrong with them other than cracked screens. Took a month and a half just to get them replaced. One was finished before the other, went to pick up the finished one took it home lo and behold now the iPad isn’t taking a charge. Remember the first part of the story only thing that was wrong was a cracked screen. I take it back now it’s out for three more weeks they send it to the mother board tech blah blah comes back now this is working however I still don’t have the second one. Couple weeks go by the call and say it’s ready we get it back at 37% battery to prove it’s charging take it home leave it on the charger guess what the battery says 24 hours later….. 37% you guessed right. Call them ask for a manager no managers available leave my number manager will call you back. Another two weeks go by at this point I’m furious I demand to speak to a manager guess what still no manager so I demand a refund he calls the manager after 20 minutes of back and fourth I leave with money back and a more broken iPad. Stay away from the place like it’s the plague. If it could have a negative star he would get that!

update The owner has now replied trying to “respectfully “ bash and discredit what I’ve said in a review. You one never coughed up 150 bucks you gave me a hundred dollar bill as a refund in which in return I took my device to a reputable repair shop and they have even said how they have to repair your mishaps using to much heat etc. Second based on your lies of returning the next day which never happened I can tell you need to make up stories often. Lastly you won’t ever have to see me walk thru your doors and I will be making a complaint to the better business of your practices. I won’t argue with low life pieces of trash as yourselves but I will let the truth be known to allow consumers to beware of your lying ways. Trust me everyone in wareham will know to be weary when using your service and check around before walking into your establishment if that’s what you would...

Brought my Google Pixel 4XL here for a repair to the charging port. He ran a diagnostic (free) just to make sure it was the charging port. I only waited maybe a couple of minutes when he informed me that it needed a new port and he had to order the part. Cost was up front and he is a very honest service provider. He called when the part arrived and I dropped my phone off for the repair. Port is perfect and phone is now back to 100%. Repair was done by him in his store!! Only took roughly 3 hours! He educated me in battery care and how to preserve a full charge (as I have reduced my battery's capacity by frequently charging and charging passed 100%)!! Great shop. Will never bring my phone or family phones anywhere else! I definitely recommend this repair shop. UPDATE: My phone started having issues the following day, not recognizing the SIM card and battery draining extremely quick (as he stated the damage I caused). I called the store again and he wanted me to bring the phone in for him to look at again. Long story short, he recommended to get a new phone. The phone I brought to him apparently is known to have battery issues, and others. Quick google searches supported this. He gave me recommendations and even refunded me the money I paid for his services and repairs for the port (mentioned above). I did not ask for a refund of ANY kind. He insisted since the phone is not 100% functioning. I made my new purchase at Verizon (my carrier) on his recommendation. Just wanted this updated review here as I am a lifelong customer now for any phone...

I'll just repost my review because the owner flagged it as "fake" 3 times now and said I wasn't a customer ahaha I can see the reviews go from 337 to 336. My review brings you from a 5.0 to a 4.9 and you go right back to 5.0 when the review amount drops that 1 🤔. Stay away from this place. Reviews are botted and most are fake, owner also reports negative reviews. I brought an s21 ultra in for a broken screen. Whoever was working was very adamant I pay in cash because "it would save me a ton of money" repair cost $159 on my card and $300 cash. After about a month the screen started falling off. I brought it to a reputable repair shop and was laughed at because of how poorly the repair was done. I should have posted this review sooner to be honest. Owner claimed I was never a customer and was just the owner of his competition, bank screenshot of transactions attached. You can keep reporting my review, I'll just keep posting it. Stay away from this place, they use the lowest grade parts and charge the premium price. Repair may look good but that's nothing more...
