Cafe Soleil — Restaurant in Wareham

Ok, we just ate tonight at Cafe Soleil. Simply another wonderful time. The staff, Lee Ann makes it so. My wife had the double 8 oz steaks. No cow is safe when it comes to beef! Halfway thru the 2nd steak she said uncle. She had a large smile on her face. I had the veal parm. Also, big D's baked potato. I finished half the potato and 1/3rd of the 2 large pcs. of veal. This entree was more than enough for 2 people! Just another great meal and time. This is a must do restaurant! We have not been out in awhile but just decided to go to one of our favorite places. LeeAnn and staff make you feel welcome the instant you enter the restaurant! We were looking at the menu and expected prices too have increased substantially. We knew all their costs had increased 30 to 40 %. Too our surprise prices had not gone up at all! I asked LeeAnn and she said that's what she decided to do! Wow! Well, we both ordered the sword fish special. It was spectacular! and the portion size was extremely large. The sauce with pcs. of scallops and shrimp went well with the rice. I hate veggies but I enjoyed the carrots, string beans and squash! Simply a great meal at a great price! I always push eating local and Wareham on Main Street has a good variety of restaurants with 2 new ones about to open. If you're in the area please stop in ate believe you'll be pleasantly surprised 😮! Well we went out to cafe soleil last night and it was as excellent as before. I'm amazed the prices have been maintained and the quality of the food is great 👍! Staff as accommodating as ever! When in Wareham you need to stop and have dinner here! It has been awhile but we finally got back to have dinner at Leanne's cafe soleil. Today is Feb. 15th 2025! This restaurant is just so pleasant to eat at! The staff top notch! Seated right on time with our reservation! The great attention to details! The food: escargot, then Sandy had sword fish tips, and I had a seafood casserole and substituted the rice for bid D's potatoes! Simply excellent meals for both of us. I cannot thank Leanne and her staff so making us feel at home. You have to try this restaurant when you're in Wareham! Well back again yesterday April 25th, reservation for 5 pm, seated at 5 pm. Lee-Ann greets as with the hi Lovee! Makes us feel at home. The wait staff is just as friendly! My wife had her usual escargot and Cranberry Fried Chicken. I switched over to meat this time and had the 2 8oz. pcs. of sirloin! Sandy cleared her plate quite quickly! I was only able to eat 1 of the 2 steak pieces! Took the other pc. home and made 3 sliders out of it. The seasoning on the steak was exceptional! I still cannot understand how they continue to hold their pricing down! This place is absolutely amazing! They offer Italian classics like chicken parm, piccata, meatballs, and marsala. They also have a nice selection of seafood dishes like baked stuffed haddock, shrimp scampi, and baked scallops, along with some perfectly-cooked steak dishes. Everything we’ve tried has been incredibly delicious and fresh! The prices are extremely reasonable and portion sizes are generous. You will simply not find a more reasonably-priced dinner restaurant offering the same high-quality food! It does not exist. They also offer a fun selection of unique cocktails and delicious dessert options. In addition to the food and prices, the customer service is unbelievable. From the minute you walk in the door, the owner and all of her staff treat you like you are family! We cannot say enough good things about this team! The owner is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Her and her team are always going above and beyond making sure everything is perfect. They truly care. We love this place so much that we recently decided to host my father’s birthday party in the upstairs area of the restaurant. The owner and her team executed everything perfectly. I received so many compliments from my guests about the food and the service. Everyone was blown away. You need to check this place out if you haven’t already! Cannot make reservations unless they are open but when we arrived without reservations at 4:15, after waiting in cold until EXACTLY 4:30, were not able to get a table because no reservation.The rudest part was the hostess seated everyone behind us before telling us there was as no tables. Have eaten here before and food was okay. Told hostess I had a back disability and couldn’t sit on a hard chair and understood if there were no booths but she seated everyone behind us in line before I could explain and then misrepresented the situation in her reply to my review. I don’t want to go down this path but if they are not opening lines for reservations until 4:30, open at 4:30 and then you’re reprimanded for no reservations???
